Is it solely that a guy pushed a woman? That can't be it can it?

That is 100% it. It became a thing that Good Good and Callaway are ok with domestic violence because a woman was pushed over in a parody commercial

This thing has gone so far in the wrong direction it was a very bad ad more than anything else

Honestly the insane over reaction is going to steer people back to good goods side haha

Yea I say that but there's no way I am watching YT golf

I do kind of hope they bounce back in some way because there's no way cancel culture should kill someone's career/company for something that dumb.

Shows you how much I pay attention to it...

I really only watch Rick Shiels & Mr. Short Game.. Other than that.. YT golf doesn't really move the needle much for me..

I think people have truly hated Good Good and the YT golf world for a long time and are using this to try and bury them and those same people hate cancel culture but the ends justify the means here

In full disclosure I’m in the above

Someone is getting fired. Garrett might have to step away from Good Good. He can go back to filming for his GM golf channel. Crazy how fast shite can take a turn.

I saw the ad.

I did not get it.

I’m not very aware of hip stuff so can someone enlighten me as to why they decided this was a good direction to go with an ad?

They were trying to spoof a horror movie called Obsession which I’ve never seen. But yea the ad was not funny, made no sense, and pretty obvious to see that having your main guy aggressively shove a girl over at the start of the video was a bad idea.

But nobody is taking ownership they’re all claiming it was someone else without saying who

I did not even see Barbie, Oppenheimer, Spider-Man, or whatever was just released so I know I’m not who anyone is marketing too, but I’ve never even heard of that movie.

Callaway spends plenty of money sponsoring real players. Why would they contract with you tube guys?

Good Good is (was?) a huge brand worth millions and millions. I’d venture to guess their merchandise, hats, and clothing make them more money than YouTube. Their shirts and hats are VERY popular amongst kids and teens, Callaway sponsored them early on and up until now I’d say it’s been a really good investment by them.

I bet more golfers under the age of 16 would recognize Garrett Clark more than they would 90% of PGA golfers

Who made more money last year?

Good Good, or the top 5-6 PGA players Callaway sponsors….combined.

The answer, the company who sold a minority stake to Peyton Mannings investment group for 45 million.
