I’m seeing that Costco pulled all Callaway products from their stores and website now.

Over reaction on this whole thing is crazy.

I don't think this is related

The ad was pure out bad! One of the worst I've ever seen.

The ad agency must have been a bunch of hacks.

If it’s Callaway pulling out, GoodGood is in serious trouble

I’d be surprised if its not Callaway. They’re getting dragged through the mud over this situation. Callaway is going want to distance themselves from all of this as much as possible, and that won’t happen if they still have continued sponsorship of anything with Good Good

Suspicious timing then. It wasn’t just a few older items that have newer replacements coming out. It was everything Callaway that got pulled

I can’t wait for AI to truly discover the “worth” of a YouTube view

I think it’s exponentially overvalued and I think many companies are starting to see that. It’s purely been valued on engagement metrics with no real thought what those metrics mean

Advertisers agree with you. It still costs significantly more to buy an ad on a nationally syndicated terrestrial radio show than a podcast on YT, even though the metrics make it appear that the podcast has 3-4 times the audience.

That's because while a rating number from Arbitron or Nielson is almost 100% accurate, a podcast's actual viewership is about 15-20% of the publicized number.

They used it as an excuse to get out of the deal with a terrible brand #ShrinktheGame

Bash them all you want and IMO they aren’t a good brand. But big companies like making money and GoodGood makes a shite ton of it. I live in Dallas, my kid plays on a youth golf tour, I’m a member of a club, and I also play at a lot of local muni’s. EVERYWHERE I go in the golf space, virtually EVERY kid is wearing GoodGood apparel. (Not my kid btw, not because he wouldn’t but because I’m cheap and don’t buy him stuff )

Holy shite. This may actually be good for Good Good. If the initial reaction was all that happened, they may have lost some money. Now, I feel like the insane overreaction will bring people over to their side. I know I've been laughing at them this entire time, but not anymore.

Great reason to buy Taylor Made now.

One of these days morons will figure out trying to appease the cancel culture crowd doesn’t mean any of them will ever buy your Products and just pisses off those of us who do.

They didn’t buy any before either.

Almost feels like Callaway was looking for an out with the Good Good partnership and this was their time to strike.

...but then why release a co-branded driver?

Wish I’d known they’d be stupid enough to do this yesterday.

I’d have shorted Callaway stock.

Nah, what’s way more likely is the “core” good good guys are going to be stepping away from YouTube content and the company is going to focus mostly on apparel.

Garrett has health issues with his heart
Bubbie and Steve seems ready to move on

The only one who still needs/wants GoodGood YouTube content is Matt, and most everyone likes him the least

The Brad and Sean channel was the only Good Good content I enjoyed.

He was a big reason why I stopped watching a few years ago. Him and it always bugged me that Steve was in this group of guys living the dream and he seemed like he couldn't care less about it.

Yea same the serious matches are all I watched. Honestly I’m wondering if YouTube golf is running its course. How many more formats can they come up with?

Things like the Internet invitational and maybe the YGT are probably the only things worth watching now.

Hell Bryson just came out with a Break 50 featuring Gary Player and it’s barely been discussed online. A year ago it would’ve been huge

What an absolute clown word we live in. Just charmin soft people everywhere. One of the dumbest backlashes I've ever seen.

I haven't watched a minute of Good Good content but this kind of wants to make me give it a shot.

Callaway is the Dad that told their kid it was ok for them to eat cookies and then the Mom finds out they ate cookies so the Dad punishes the kid for eating them.

"We approved this video but it's in our best interest to put all the blame on them."

Not bubbie, but Steve has looked ready to hit the door for years.

But he likes the money. He’s made millions will exactly zero talent.

Oddly enough as I sit in my office with the golf channel on a Good Good commercial just came on..

While i think the ad was pretty poorly thought out.. The backlash has just shown you how fricking fragile people are...

Also, who is the chick anyway? I don't watch a lot of GG content so I have no clue.. and she agreed

Serious question.

If the commercial had the female pushing the male or a male pushing a male would any of this have happened?

I ask because I am having trouble figuring out what people are so upset about. Is it solely that a guy pushed a woman? That can't be it can it?
