Here is the add and Callaway’s apology

People got mad because the opening was clipped and just showed the girl get shoved down for touching the guys club.

IMO they shouldn’t have to apologize for the domestic violence stuff, they should have to apologize for the add being horrible.

I assume you meant should in the second part. I agree. My issue isn't with pushing the girl, it's that the ad makes no sense. Am I supposed to rush out to buy the club because it will turn me into a crazy person?

ETA: I just read the Callaway apology. It all makes way more sense now. Good Good made the video. I could never see a big brand like Callaway coming up with such a bad idea. It's on them for giving the green light, but I can at least make sense of all of this now.

I'm offended that Callaway just assumes that was a woman. Did they ask her preference or pronouns. Who is Calloway to define what a woman is? I demand an apology.

the ad was hot garbage anyway.

Anytime I see a YouTube channel try to spice up an in video ad with acting and scripts, it is so cringey. This ad was really poorly done all the way around. Not sure what their messaging was trying to say.

Both companies should have ignored the outrage and just pulled the ad and let the story die. Apologizing just makes it worse.

Yes I did, fixed it.

The add is awful, doesn’t even make sense, and I don’t know why it would encourage me to go out and buy that driver

The ad was just weird and made no sense. I can't believe someone was paid to come up with that garbage

I don't know how big Good Good has gotten since I stopped watching them 5 years ago, but I assume that since they made the video, the guys who run the company just came up with it. Maybe they have a creative department now, though?

If chicks wanna get treated equally what's the problem with pushing her? I thought the ad was funny but I'm not a whiny lefty fig.

If you find this funny you are a brain dead moron.

The response is way over the top but the ad was straight up retarded and unfunny

They’re delaying the big break to pull a sponsor over this? Holy overreaction Batman.

The ad was cringey and whoever okayed it should’ve seen the backlash over a guy shoving a girl to the ground coming, but goodness. If it’s Callaway pulling out, GoodGood is in serious trouble
