What's the most exotic animal/meat you have eaten?

I had antelope heart this past weekend. It was not as "irony" as I imagined it would be.... was smothered in a red wine reduction with diced cremini mushrooms. mmmmmm good
I have a co-worker who grew up in China and would eat farm raised dog. It was common back in the 80's apparently when food was scarce.

Ate a kangaroo steak at an English pub in 2024.
It was good.

Dog and Cat are still very common in China. You can often find them on rotisserie as street food. Nice restaurants serve meats with the head or feed on the plate so that you can be sure of what you are eating.

Horse, puffin, shark, whale, or ostrich.

Ostrich - dark, red meat that reminded me somewhat of beef. I thought it was delicious.
Bear - never again. Very gamey and greasy.
Nutria - light meat that seemed similar to pork shoulder in texture. Very mild and really good.

Some of the proteins may change from year to year but this is probably the extent of what I've tried.

Tete de veau.
The animal may not be that exotic but the part of the animal is unusual.
The entire contents of a veal head.

After harvesting a wildebeest in Tanzania, the guides cooked the liver on a stick over an open fire. It was a very interesting experience, however it did not taste very good.

I'm sure at some point people actually ate everything they killed.

Emu. Too dry, no wonder it was a market flop.
