Shinobi arcade game and Book-It free pizzas. Take me back!
Map this out on trains, but I think you could do 21 days on this. I would minimize time in Zurich (sort of boring) but the rest of the cities are pretty awesome.

Zurich to Zillertal region.
Zillertal to Lake Como or Gardasee in northern Italy.
Como/Riva del Garda to Innsbruck, use that as base for exploring Alpine villages like Kitzbuhel.
Innsbruck to Salzburg
Salzburg to Munich
Explore southern Bavaria from Munich including Fuessen (Neuschwantstain), Kempten, Herreninsel / Fraueninsel on the Chiemsee, rollerbahn on the Schliersee, Berchtesgaden/Eagle's Nest, etc.
Munich to Nuremberg for WWII history and old town
Nuremberg to Leipzig
Leipzig to Berlin

Only on this board would someone compare the Colosseum unfavorably to Tiger Stadium. LSU fans...wow.

Wasn’t she a cop, or maybe dated a cop? What was her name again? Leslie ?

YES! Great memory. I think she was working at the new Bruno's for a while too.

Any recent reports from Tyrol? Specifically Kitzbuhel, Soell / Wilder Kaiser, Alpbachtal areas?

60 degrees and sunny most afternoons, but it did get below freezing and night so the snow was pretty good in the mornings. Lower elevation areas sucked but above ~ 1600 meters was fine.
Customer service rep was named Shatrenia.

Two memories stand out.

Tulane graduation pre-Katrina was held here, had a great meal in the Quarters afterwards.

You'll see, JP Morrell is a modern day Dorothy Mae Taylor who is trying to stir up the natives against white Krewes and replace them with more black Krewes.

and you need to return to your gate two hours before departure

Ummm what?! Do people actually sit at a gate for 2 hours? Also, at Heathrow, they don’t even post the gate information until like 30 minutes before boarding time.
A good friend's grandfather fought in Stalingrad in the Wehrmacht. He had his arm shot off and was evacuated back to Germany. Talk about lucky.
