Used to belong to a secret and exclusive club called Fabulous Gourmet Club, we used to eat almost extinct animals. The last of the last, it was a great time. One time it was kamado dragon

Not very "exotic" at all but it's gotta be elk for me. I'd trade every piece of whitetail in my freezer 2:1 for some elk. And I love deer meat.

Is Nutria exotic? Asking for a friend.

Unfair advantage. You're disqualified from the thread.

God knows, I've eaten tamales from questionable sources. Occasionally I get the urge to sit on the porch and lick myself.

Being from Louisiana, I have eaten a lot of the stuff listed so far... but Puffin is probably the most exotic if that counts...

When I was at Joe Beef in Montreal, I wanted to order the horse.. but the missus was so horrified I opted against it...

I've eaten pretty much ever wildlife native to South Louisiana, most exotic has to be Longtail Seabass. Not many are caught, ive been on quite a few offshore btm fishing trips and only saw 1 caught. Its either that or a Bobcat sauce picaunt.

Western Diamond Back Rattlesnake at the Rustler's Rooste Restuarant inside the Hilton Resort in Phoenix, Arizona. It's offered as an appetizer. It was marinated in salad oils and limes, breaded, and deep fried. It was served with the vertebrae attached. Tasted a bit like chicken, but was very good. Anyone interested in trying it there should call about it's availability. Not always available. Rustler's Rooste is primarily a steakhouse. I would definitely choose to eat it again if in that area!

Rattlesnake
At the famous Sweetwater Texas rattlesnake roundup there was a vender selling fried western diamondback made with a proper cornmeal batter with plenty of "Slap ya Mama's" and lemon
Delicious
Rattlesnake tastes like part catfish, part frog legs with a hint of chicken
