Obviously wagyu beef and authentic balsamic is up there but curious what other big ticket items FD board members purchase on a regular basis.

Shelled pistachios. That crap is expensive and doesn't last long.

Parmigiano-Reggiano. How I grew up eating that crap in the green can, I have no idea, but I will not buy anything that isn't real Parmigiano-Reggiano anymore.

Cheese aisle at Central Market is a budget buster for me. That cave-aged Compte gets me every time . And right now I’m hooked on Marcona almonds at $20/lb

Ask this question on the OB and their answer would be venison.
Lease, truck, side by side, rifle, scope, whiskey, and time all for wild goat meat. They can’t wait to do it.

Shucked oysters especially grilled ones.
Ice cream. It’s pretty absurd some prices for a scoop of ice cream can be $5-6+ when it’s like 1/15th of a half gallon you can buy for $6.
