This is a good point. SeALs are the best we have. Best physically and mentally and the best trained.

I think people have some misconception that because someone made it through a selection process to a specialized unit that they are somehow impervious to the realities of combat.

They aren’t super heroes…they are still human beings.

You do know that gasoline blenders don’t hike up the prices in the summer because of your trip to the beach.

You can thank federal regulations for that.

El Mar lateral line maybe? I’m not too familiar with CO2…other than they flood the Yates and SACROC.

I work for the largest pipeline operator in the country…I can equivocally say…yes haha.

Some dipshit operator or pipeline controller is going to have their head up their arse and close a valve when the shouldn’t or not start a pump process precisely like they should…source-12 years of control room/management experience.

Google what a water hammer is…there doesn’t have to be water or hammers in the pipe for it to happen.

You think the Keystone is just one continuous run of pipe?

An employee on a pump station along the pipeline heard a "bang" Tuesday morning, spill investigation program manager with the North Dakota Department of Environmental Quality Bill Suess told CBS News. South Bow, a liquid pipelines business that has managed the Keystone Pipeline since 2024, said control center leak detection systems detected a pressure drop in the system and initiated a shutdown and response around 7:42 a.m. It's not clear what caused the issue.

Sounds like the line was slacked somewhere…and the control center started a pump causing a water hammer which caused a flange to split.

Kreuz….shoulder clod, jalapeño cheese sausage, turkey, crackers and bread…side of sauerkraut, block of cheese, avocado…free fresh salsa…be sure to get the banana pudding…seriously the best banana pudding in Texas I’m convinced.

What's the best Tex-Mex in Houston then?? My wife likes Lupe's more than El Tiempo.

Lupe Tortilla is garbage…the best Tex Mex in Houston is at Candente.

Hotel downtown is your best bet.

Stay away from the Galleria unless you absolutely HAVE to go…there is better shopping elsewhere (Rice Village, Highland Village, River Oaks District).

Museum of Natural Science, Health Museum, the Zoo all good picks.

For two boys 9 and 14…Cidercade would probably be a good spot for them…it’s kid friendly during daylight hours.

If you want restaurant recs, search my post history.
My kids love the carnival, my son did mutton busting last year in NRG…daughter might next year, hanging out at the wine garden on a nice evening, drunkenly crushing a Trill Burger after hitting the Corral Club for most of the events and making it to like half of the concert…all while wearing a pair of boots that probably cost more than your mortgage payment.

You just just sound like a miserable cocksucker.
Tequila Ocho or Primera Mano

If you’re a podcaster…listen to Sarah Adams on the Shawn Ryan show…she spells out what’s going on in Afghanistan again.
