Hardwood floor help

So someone(who is NOT me) dropped a full bottle of gin on my varnished hardwood floor, and it immediately broke. Besides the mini-tragedy of losing a full Hendricks bottle, there is now a hazy, cloudy stain. Have tried generic wood cleaner with no improvement. Suggestions?...

There's an old Paul Prudomme recipe that I made over 20 years ago and sadly no longer have it. Worth a Google search. Very labor intensive but truly one of the best things I've ever made...

Never been, super interested . Web site says tickets and lodging sold-out. Tickets available on secondary market? Possible to get a condo or hotel without booking thru festival?. Did both of those things at Telluride Bluegrass a few years ago. Worked ok but pricy . TIA for good intel ...

I must be an outlier. Ready Natchez Burning and a couple of others. Some good prose but plots were way too far-fetched . The scene involving the flame-thrower was so preposterous I couldn’t go any further...
Reluctantly agreed to visiting St Louis with a friend last spring and was pleasantly surprised . City Museum, amazing botanical garden, heard some great blues and Italian food was on point...
A few years ago I rented a house just outside Ft Davis, just across a canyon from the observatory for Persied meteor shower. Spent entire night on an inflatable mattress watching. Was indescribable ....

I seriously love FW. Been here for > 30 yrs . Explosive growth in the last 2 yrs have changed things do sho, but still a great place. I’m a couple miles west of DT, walking distance to lots of stuff including 3 world class museums ...

Slight variation on roasted okra- preheat convection oven to 400, place sheet pan in oven to heat. Slice okra lengthwise. Put olive oil and spices(I like curry or tandoori spice ) in a bowl, toss okra till coated . Throw on to hot pan and roast for 20 mins or so. Really tasty ...
