I think Our Mom’s suffers at times due to staffing issues causing inexplicable waits when restaurant is not full. We went a few weeks ago and throughly enjoyed it. Great burgers!
Breck’s Bistro was very good. Don’t recall why it closed, but was a great spot in that part of town.

Uno Dos Tacos and Bayou Boyz, Shrimp Basket, any restaurant that opens in the old Calendars location on Perkins.
I never cared for The Shed.

Yes. It's somewhat similar to Firehouse subs.
The sandwiches aren't bad. But the goodwill comes from it being an Auburn staple. Take it out of Auburn, and even Alabama, and it loses its cache. I think they went pretty aggressive on the franchising only to learn that if you don't have any affiliation or love for Auburn, there isn't a big market for it.

They really did, was really sad to see them go. I went to the location on Lee drive often, you could definitely start to see it going downhill. Sad. As another poster said, the sensation salad was amazing. Also has really good calzones. RIP

The only thing I truly remember about their food was they had nachos on Doritos.
What made me start this thread was eating lunch today at Bao and not remembering what it was before it was Bao. The server reminded me it was called Spice Bistro.
I vaguely recall Spice being like.. a drunken hood type place.

Place had a pretty decent run of being pretty much the best pizza in the city.
Seemed to over-expand, and I understand some family issues helped ultimately do them in, but a "flop"? I don't think I'd call it that.

The place that is now Southdowns Grille has been like 900 things.

Probably some other things. I remember when it was Table, they had a $19 burger and it was this whole ~thing~. Like it was on the menu as "The $19 Burger".
Today, that's not even that weird.
