What restaurants that get a bad rap here, that you think are decent?

The biggest one in my book is Olive Garden. It’s not too expensive, and the food is decent. Now don’t get me wrong, we are not going there on a “night out with dinner”, but we will go to get something to eat.
Cracker Barrel is another one. To me, it’s the second best place to have breakfast behind Waffle House (Louie’s Cafe is #1, but too far). I’ve never had anything other than breakfast at CB (even for dinner), so my review of CB does not include their other foods.

Walk-ons. Baws expecting Commanders but the bar food is decent. I wish they would up their beer list. Need to add more local options.

CB salads and other foods are also fine. I will easily choose that or Olive Garden or Texas Roadhouse when I am traveling and I can see them from the interstate. Waffle house as well. I do prefer to eat local and not chain when I get to my destination though.

People shite on in and out and I actually really like it.

It’s not life changing but it’s a good burger.

Call me pretentious but we avoid places like this not so much for the food but because of the clientele

Superior
Walk-On’s
Chili’s

If you read this board you’d think everyone is either hitting fine dining every night or only in search of authentic taqueria. There’s a middle ground.

Sonnys bbq gets a lot of shite on here, but it’s not bad for what we have.

Carrabbas. It’s not the best but I’ve always had a solid meal there.

My wife had the worst veal Marsala there she and I have ever tasted. Not sure how someone could mess it up that bad. I can’t remember if my dish was good or not, the memory of hers is too strong.

I have no idea if people here specifically shite on it, but I can get down with some Papa Johns. I also like the regular hamburgers at McDonalds.

I haven't been to Texas Roadhouse since I was a child and you could still do the peanut shell thing, but we've been wanting to go try it one night for nostalgia. I loved it as a kid.

We went because they put one on Juban and my niece wanted it. I had sirloin, sweet potato, a salad, and the rolls for like $11. At dinner. So it was pretty decent since it was lunch price.
