In all seriousness, their food looks like it comes from bags
Every time I order from Johnny Carino's I swear it seems like they send someone running down the street to buy what I ordered from the Albertson's frozen section.

I was in the kitchen of one a few weeks ago. Everything comes from a bag. They have those rolling beer troughs lined up across the kitchen with bags of food defrosting under water. It’s gross

The guy in the video was grabbing handfuls of pasta after touching his phone and whatever that little pole thing is hanging down, among other things.

Here's 18 things to know about Olive Garden. I've only eaten there one time and it was a long time ago. The option just hasn't ever come up again.

What you saw was bagged sauces not whole entrees. The prep crew comes in the morning and makes all the sauces for the day (lots of these have bagged seasoning blends ) they bag them and put in the cooler. During the shifts they are taken out as needed.

I probably get McDonald's twice a month. I either get two sausage biscuits and a cup of coffee if I'm eating breakfast on the road or two McDoubles and two small fries if I'm eating lunch.

Tell me sir, how would a "franchise" maintain quality, taste and consistency through all locations without the bags?

Your point does not ascertain as to whether the food is good or not.

PoBoy Express. Obviously not the first choice for a poboy in BR, but it's better than many.

A lot of people hate on Raul's, but there's something great about a double shrimp burger, especially when drunk or hungover.

eta: I wonder what ever happened with the Raul's owner's sexual harassment charges.

I have never seen someone so vehemently defend what is at best a mediocre product. It is bizarre.

I have never defended the food. I think it sucks. It is just not precooked and microwaved like the idiots on this board constantly claim.

I worked at an Olive Garden in the 90's, and just about everything was made "fresh" daily back then. The ingredients were shipped to the restaurant from a central supplier to all OG's and most of the ingredients were pre-prepped(onions and garlic chopped, etc.) I don't even think it had a microwave back then. The sauces were put in bags once prepped, and they'd drop those bags in simmering water to heat them up before dumping them in the pan with pasta, protein, etc.

No idea if that is still how it's done.
