Exactly! No slippery slope just like gay marriage wasn't one, nor bussing before that.

No doubt, you are right. The party on the losing side of the abortion rights issue has a big electoral advantage. The issue has been polling that way for three or four decades.

Well, over turning Roe would let them do what they want. It wouldn't ban abortions. It would let states decide.

We are living in apocalypic times. Sides are being drawn. I know what side I want to be on and don't give a damn if it's a winning issue in this election. God wins in the end.

Tend to agree, but Republicans like having the issue as it applies to USSC. Truth is that even when you have a conservarive majority on the court they have upheld key aspects of Roe and have knocked down state restrictions...even recently.

Roe is not going anywhere unfortunately

Anti abortion is a winning issue nationally. The polls changed drastically the last 10 years.

If you want to give momentum back to the Democrats, then start making abortion the issue. Nominate a conservative and keep our mouths shut about the issue. Otherwise, you will get a Biden presidency.

Roe v Wade does not need to be overturned because of abortion. That is simply a part of it. The ruling has been used erroneously to create rights out of thin air in numerous cases and has been an albatross on the courts for many decades.

It’s overturn should be pushed as a way to slow for the constitution to be followed. The country then should vote on the idea of allowing abortion or it should be legislated. Instead, it was made up out of thin air as legal because of politicization of the USSC by justices like RBG to force passing of laws from the bench rather than slog their job of interpreting laws.

While it needs to be done, how it is framed by the administration and Republicans as not getting rid of abortion but by correcting the misuse of the USSC as a legislative body.

The BIG issue in this election is the United States of American remaining a Capitalist Republic. This should be the focus.

It would be great if the OP was wrong. But he isn't. He's 100% correct.

Pushing an overturn of Roe v. Wade in September or October 2020, is nearly equivalent to voting for Biden

“Opposing concentration camps for Jews is a losing issue”

It needs to be overturned because it is the right thing to do.

you understand that all repealing roe v. wade would do is throw the abortion issue back to individual state jurisdiction so if you blood thirsty phaggots in colorado want to keep mudering babies you're free to do so.

are all Coloradans as uninformed as you?

What has been scraped away and thrown in the trash the last several decades? How many cures for cancer? How many heart surgeons? How many answers to clean energy? How many great lawyers? How many great atheletes?

It’s way too complicated to overturn.

Overturning roe doesn’t ban abortion.

People seem to fail to understand that.
