Some of the board’s travel plans might inspire others.

For me:

Nicaragua (bird hunting) - March
Alaska / Kodiak Island (fishing) - July
South Dakota (bird hunting) - October
Nebraska (duck hunting) - November

These will be my first trips to all of these places. I am working on going to all 50 states.

Nothing planned past July. Would like to get another ski trip in this season but between the wedding and move I doubt that'll happen.

Postponed all international travel again to 2023. We have to request my wife’s weeks vacations in November for the following year so it puts us in a bind and I just don’t have the comfort I want to plan Paris or Philippines yet.

This year…we just got back from Disney. Sailing a cruise on Oasis of the Seas in February. Camping trip in a treehouse cabin in April. A week at the beach in July. A week in Boston in august coming back right before Labor Day and a week snow skiing in December

I’ll have a few long weekend sprinkled in but that’s what we have planned so far

Im also planning a ski trip tbd and at least one trip to New York probably in the fall.

Was going to do Sayulita and Guadalajara for our ten year anniversary but Jalisco just announced vaccine mandates for hotels and restaurants. Makes total sense since the vaccines don't do jack shite to stop the spread of the virus...

Maybe we will do Huatulco and Oaxaca instead if they don't go full covidian retard too.

Taking a year off from any big trips. After two really big trips in 2021 that both had to deal with a ton of covid nonsense, I just don't want to deal with it.

Waiting to see what 2023 looks like.

Have to go to Arizona in the summer for something, maybe one other small domestic trip.

I tend to procrastinate and book last minute, but…

Tampa - January or February (pleasure)
Denver - February (pleasure)
Charleston - March (wedding)
San Francisco - March (work)
Toronto - April / May (visiting wife’s extended family)
Boston - May (visiting my mom)
Austin - June (bachelor party)
NYC - Not sure when, but the summertime (Dad lives there)
Columbus - September (Wisconsin/Ohio State)

Not a "trip," since it's two hours from Chicago, but I'll probably go to Madison a few times throughout the year. Trying to go next weekend for Wisconsin/MSU on Friday night, but the wife doesn't want to drive up.

Hawaii - February
Oregon Coast / Redwoods - three day road trip when I can fit it in and weather is good
Outer Banks / Chesapeake Bay / Philadelphia - April
Asheville / Atlanta - May
Eastern Washington - two or three day road trip May, June, or July
Central Oregon - two or three day road trip May, June, or July
Upstate NY / VT / NH / Maine - late July/August
Ozarks - late September/October
NFL road game - fall

Thankfully I have a ton of Alaska Air miles and hotel points, so my two first major trips are practically payed for other than ground transportation, food, and entertainment. I am also hoping to do a quick 4 day trip to Anchorage/ Kenai Peninsula during the summer if I can get decent rental car price and have enough vacation leave from work.
