In Rome, the Terrace Pantheon Relais. It’s a couple of blocks from the Pantheon.
In Florence, the San Firenze Suites and Spa, which is a block away from the Palazzo Vecchio.

Parish is the best restaurant in town (known primarily for their seafood). Doe’s for steaks. They can be expensive though.
Make reservations for both of them....

If you plan to see a lot of the sights in Florence, I would suggest San Firenze Suites and Spa. I stayed there a couple of years ago. It’s in a great location. About a block from the Palazzo Vecchio and less than a half mile from the Duomo. ...
