re: 16 teams ... no byes

4 & 5 haven’t played any competition this year so are unknown.

7,8,9,10 are all just as likely to win it all this year as 4 &5.

Ole Miss’ win over OU is better than aTm’s win over ND.

And both Ole Miss and A&M have better wins and better losses than Tceh. The committee has no rhyme or reason.

Hopefully next years field is set by AI computers.

Even though Ole Miss has a guaranteed win in the 1st round they have worse odds to win it all than A&M.

I can’t imagine their level of hatred for Kiffin…

They were 5.5 point favorites over OU on the road when it was assumed they were the 9 seed.

You assuming one of the defenses is going to score a TD?

The criteria they use for strength of schedule is laughable too. You would get more credit beating a one loss Tulane than a three loss top 15 SEC team.

They need to address that before next season.

Or more accurately, using the 247 composite talent rankings: Oregon (5th) vs Bama (2nd) UGA (1st) vs OSU (3rd)

You forgot (4th) Texas
I agree. I know Indiana just beat OSU but I’d still rather play Indiana in the playoffs than OSU.

Alabama Indiana Tceh is easier than Miami OSU Georgia.

The 5 seed and 6 seed basically get better than a bye week because of letting 2 cream puffs in. They get a tune up game before they play a real opponent.

Have you considered how much fun you’ll have watching this team get its arse beat again?

I don’t know. If you get matched up with A&M and your QB has two functioning legs all you’ll have to do is run QB draw on repeat and you’ll be the shite out of us.
Opponents were announced a long time ago. This will just be adding the dates.
Texas for offense and Louisiana for Defense.
Play tu on a neutral field since they’re the first two out. They didn’t really lose to tu, they just ran out of time.
Didn’t OSU lose to Michigan one year and not drop a single playoff spot?
I’m ok with Ole Miss being in front of us but both Ole Miss and A&M should be in front of Tech and Oregon.

I watched Tech play BYU and if that’s the most competition they’ve played all year then they haven’t played anyone.

Miss St would steamroll BYU.
No one loss SEC team should be behind Texas Tceh or Oregon.
Or if Bama wins they jump A&M and OU bumping Aggies to 8 and OU to 9.

2012 A&M vs OU cotton bowl rematch would get some ratings.
I copied and pasted the schedules from AI. I don’t know how accurate the scores are but looks about right.

Are you saying we would get preferential treatment as "we are Texas" media darlings?

A little bit of that and a little bit of pre-season rankings skewing final rankings.
Out of curiosity what does everyone think tu would be ranked if they played A&M’s exact schedule with the exact same results?

I’d say they would have been #1 all year and dropped to #3 with a loss to A&M.

Vice versa: A&M would be around #20 with 3 losses including a blowout to Florida.

Sounds like a guy that backtracked after LSU agreed to pay his CFP incentives.
