You are an ignroant SOB
All I can say is that I'm glad you are not making decisions

You're really caught up on the fact that the defense Aranda built over a 3-year span is doing mildly better than the defense he has taken over and completely overhauled this season?

Thank you for admitting he can't recruit. If you are making excuses for a coach, he isn't a coach.
Huh? He's been out recruiting Louisville since they joined the ACC, according to Rivals.
And he isn't a coach? Wtf?

P.S. Nick saban out recruited the big boys while on probation. Keep trying to compare them. you are losing BIG LEAGUE.
You must have me confused with someone else, because I haven't mentioned Saban once, so I don't know what I'm losing "big league".

I love Aranda and have been one of his biggest fans. You were probably one of the dumbasses screaming about how bad he was early on. I don't think he should get his salary almost doubled in 1 year...hell he was making about 500k at wisconsin so I think he is happy with his current salary.

You can do worse than Fedora
Well you are right but when I hear

He isn't that bad
it makes me laugh. That's the crap guys say at 2am about the ugly girl they are about to take home. "She isn't that bad....until you wake up"
How bad will Fedora look when everyone "wakes up".

Is this another one of those gentlemans agreements?

Sigh. No, I was not.
If that's what it takes to keep him, it's worth it.

Which team is better? Is it his coaching, then?

My Bad, meant for Lionnation1993.

what makes yall think he will leave after 1 year? I am sure he has head coaching aspirations and will get an opportunity within a few years...I doubt he wants to move every year

we need to keep aranda at nearly all costs, hes that good. pay the man what it takes to do that

quote:Agreed. Not sure why Mullen has never been mentioned as a serious candidate. Is it possible that his buyout is too big? I think he is a great coach and is definitely an offensive mind. He can only do so much at MSU and has done quite a lot. He is a very smart guy and speaks quite eloquently. I honestly think he's too good for MSU.
Id take Mullen

he won't stay on as a DC once offered a HC job...hell that could happen this year

How long a contract does Aranda have ? I have heard some say it was a 3 year deal. Which, assuming he knew CLM was on the hot seat, meant he was willing to commit to LSU regardless?
Posted on 11/16/16 at 2:29 pm to jbraua
We do not need to hire at Fedora! We need to avoid him at all costs. UNC fans are starting to grow tired of him because of his unwillingness to run the ball. We do not need that with the best running backs in the country.

of course if a head coaching job comes up that will likely trump him staying another 2 years

I will have season tickets for sale if Orgeron or Fedora are HC at LSU
