If true and all of this shite is leaking to people left and right people need to get slapped.

Shut your mouth until the deal is done.

If Fisher is hired on Nov 28th.

They should bring him in as a consultant for the bowl game. Let O coach it. Give Fisher a chance to recruit O to stay, let him show O some deference during this time. Have the team hand him a plaque that says "Winningest coach in LSU history, with all scores from all of the games on it.

Give him the 750k, a car, a house. He only became coach because King et al fricked up last year.

He's done well as HC in games we should have dominated, but needs to stay here and be motivated to win as part of great staff.

I just don't get people with these extreme reactions. No matter what happens, you need to give it time to see.

I'll give you Miles. Nick Saban had Michigan State (a basketball school) in the top 10 when he left. he beat ohio state, notre dame, Michigan, Penn State. he was also killing it on the recruiting trail signing five star athletes like plaxico burris. Compare that to fedora.

Your are always so worried about LSU spending money. are you on the budget committee or something?

OC/DC's make 1.3-1.5 nowadays. Aranda is being labeled as the best DC in the country. To keep him from jumping ship, $2M is well deserved.

Plus, the ROI his defenses bring are WELL worth $2m.

FSU isn't in the running for anything this year, don't think leaks can hijack this. Everyone has deniability right now, calm down

Michigan State was in the playoffs. They have sucked in between Saban leaving and making the playoffs last year. It is much easier to win there than UNC.

And you are wrong. Michigan State won more than 7 games one time under Saban. If he was bringing in great recruits why did he have a 34-24 overall record as their head coach.

you know how I know you don't have season tickets?

the guy has been here 1 year and you want to give him what a 900k raise? His old team has a better defense than lsu and probably only makes 400k

I realize Fedora is not a sexy candidate for some, but Fedora is a logical Plan B candidate if your top targets don't work out.

Fedora will get a bigger job than UNC soon, it's only a matter of time.

Again, I'd have a hard time getting overly excited about Fedora, but as I said, he's a logical and reasonable Plan B for LSU.

The difference is Fleck has had the top recruiting class in his conference for four years. Fedora, nope

You really think he should've been out-recruiting FSU, Clemson and Miami? Even while on probation?

UNC has had success in the past under Mack Brown and Butch Davis. This isn't a doormat program. For many years it was the second best program in the A.C.C.

When? Hell, Western Michigan had a 9-win season more recently than UNC before last year.

I am not wrong. Michigan state finished in the top 10 and beat florida in the capital one bowl his last season. go check it out. He took over a program on probation, sound familiar? except he beat a lot of big boys. fedora, nope.

He built them to top 10 program with players like Derrick Mason, Plaxico Burres, Ike Reese, robair Smith, Flozell Adams, Julian Peterson etc.

check out how many all American's, all pro's, all conference, top draft choices that is from a basketball school, on probation, coached by nick saban. Compare that to larry fedora. can't believe you even tried to compare the two.

You can add Louisville.

Thank you for admitting he can't recruit. If you are making excuses for a coach, he isn't a coach.

P.S. Nick saban out recruited the big boys while on probation. Keep trying to compare them. you are losing BIG LEAGUE.

It should at least rank an SEC Network documentary no matter which way it develops.

Fedora went 11-1 last year and won his division losing to the national runner up by 8 points.

It is actually very comparable
