Well he probably just reacting to your first post that came off as ignorant and lazy. U made a post without reading the article... hence the lazy part.

Just a hunch though...

Respect my choice...

I find it funny that recruits can change their mind on signing day leaving a team floundering.... and they say "respect my choice"

Teams can fire coaches mid-season..... teams say we are doing what's best for the program.

National media doesn't seem to hate on them

But National media wants to crucify Lane if he leaves Ole Miss? "How can he do this to his team... blah blah blah".

Unfortunately this is the landscape of college football. It is what it is... truth is the media loves this mess, they really don't care about programs, players, or coaches. Whatever drives ratings is what they care about most!

Lane can't take the LSU job while still under contract with OM? He has to breach his OM contract by resigning or say he,'s leaving

Then how has Morris accepted the Okie State job but will coach UNT in post season? Is Lane's contract different?
Is it Kiffin's choice not to coach the playoffs if he decides to leave Ole Miss or is Ole Miss forcing him out if he doesn't meet the decision deadline? Sounds like he would prefer to coach until the end but Ole Miss is saying no... not trying to defend him, but its not as cut and dry as some are making it look.

With that scenario.... you either let Ole Miss force you into staying there or you do the unthinkable and leave for another opportunity.

Its messed up but without know everything going on, its hard to say what you would do. Just my opinion

Your lack of knowing when to stop digging your hole is not the ONLY thing you are missing either!

Where do y’all come up with ideas like this?

Well... for the last 15 to 20 yr of watching Game Day and every analyst, coach, and everyone else rave about this guy. Then when you look at what he accomplished at Northwestern... he is the winningest coach in Northwestern school history. The records he set there are impressive for Northwestern. When he was coaching his name was held in the same regard as all the top coaches.. the problem was he wasn't going to leave Northwestern.

I am not saying he deserves or should get the job but with all the other names being thrown out..... he deserves a call as much as any of the rest not named Saban or Kiffin.

but, if you want to share your reasons why Fitzgerald doesn't deserve a call then I would love to read them.

Pat Fitzgerald should get a call...

Was reading on ESPN that the lawsuit was settled. They found Pat had no knowledge of the hazing. He sounds ready to get back in coaching.

He was always praised for doing more with less. Everyone always said how great of a coach he was and if he was at a power house he would be as good as anyone.

I know he spent his entire time up north... but he would be worth a call.

Do we really want to be doing this again in 2 years?

you mean worry and argue over who the next coach will be? It's like Christmas time for LSU fans..... arguing, cussing, worrying, getting excited, disappointed.... Good times. :rotflmao:

I think this is the most important hire in program history,

This was said after Orgeron too.... every hire is important.

The problem is there is not many "for sure" hires. BK was supposed to be that until it wasn't.

Not being in interviews you really don't know how likely the coach will be successful. I think most hires are based off what the coach's previous record looked like vs. looking at record, intangibles, philosophy, style, etc.

So in short.... all we can do as fans is enjoy guessing and debating all the potential candidates.

wasn't tied to my car or house insurance.

I don't understand thos statement... one of the things an umbrella does is extends your home and auto liability to the umbrella limits. If its not tied to your home and auto what is it doing? If u seriously injure someone in an auto accident will it not pay?

My advice is... if you need an umbrella you need to understand an umbrella. Have someone you trust that's in the business to fully explain how it works.

You know.... as a man, I was given two titties with nipples. Now, I know I will never need those titties.... God knows I will never need to titties, but I got them just in case. Same goes for the 2500.. :nana:

Yes, but a reasonable belief her life is in danger? Without observable facts?

Well, a 67 year old man driving around with a14 year old girl after being accused of sexual abuse. He is a predator and should've known better... he put his sickness ahead of his own life in my opinion. He f-cked around and found out.
My thoughts are that CF is dying.... ever since Glassman was forced to sell, the new leadership just doesn't appear to have a clue on how to market CF. They keep losing relevance year and year. Maybe it was never going to sustain what it was...
Well, there are going to be an endless supply of ideas but here is mine for what its worth...

Bucket 1= cash (no risk investments..ie: laddered CD's, Money Markets accounts, etc). This bucket should have roughly 3 to 5 yrs worth of income.

Bucket 2= blended low risk funds and/or annuities that mature in 3-7 yr.. Some risk but not full market risk.

Bucket 3= full market risk.. this is you 7+ yr Bucket. The market swings can be tolerated and you shouldn't have to pull from this Bucket until the market is in an up swing.

You back fill Bucket 1 with Bucket 2... and back fill Bucket 2 with Bucket 3. This concept should prevent you from ever having to pull from any Bucket if that Bucket is in a negative return.

You keep all your eggs in a pure market risk Bucket then u risk pulling from that when u are in a down cycle. This can sink your retirement.

Once again, just my humble opinion.
