from what i hear it's a party town and would be a blast for a young professional. I want to go and catch a cubs game and experience a big city but it does have the Chiraq stigma bc of all the shootings.

damn lol. yeh i think he has a short walk to the L and will buy a monthly pass or whatever it's called. He is excited about living in the big city and i think after 3 years with this company he can move almost wherever he wants

crime and the leadership are why it gets shite on. I have never been but i am sure if you stay in the good areas everything is great. My nephew is moving there for work next week...based on the info i have from my sis and BIL (grew up in chicago) it's very expensive, parking is hell and there are bars everywhere and tons of things to do...just avoid going into the bad areas.
