Me too, but he's still infinitely better than Orgeron. He has actually won as a head coach. And in multiple places.

FIFY

We've been down this road before. I'm not getting my hopes up until I see the introductory press conference.

Do people seriously think Orgeron is a better coach than Fedora?

Fedora isn't an elite guy, but he's won at multiple schools and more than his predecessors.

That is so much better than Orgeron going 3-21 in conference at Ole Miss and getting worse every year and being worse than BOTH his predecessor and successor.

Its unreal people think Ed Orgeron should be our head coach. Its absolutely mind blowing. Its embarrassing.

he won't stay on as a DC once offered a HC job...hell that could happen this year

I wouldn't make that assumption. Making what he makes he can be picky about a job he wants. Look at Kirby. He could have had a number of head coaching jobs for years. He waited, for years, in a good spot for the one he wanted.

Yea, I agree. He'll be here as long as he's a DC IMO. Unless he absolutely hates the next HC. It will just depend on who will hire him as a HC and whether or not he wants the job.

What if Sexton is just playing LSU for a raise.... because we know that's not his game

Then LSU is sitting with CEO and Larry Fedora as their top choices.... let that soak in.

Sounds like one helluva "coaching search" going on...... more like politics as usual.

That is very telling (and scary) that it seems like our top options are Jimbo, O, and Fedora. Even though Herman has looked unimpressive as of late, I would still make a pitch to him too. Unless he really did tell LSU that he isn't interested.

Don't want to turn LSU into Texas A&M. That's what you're doing if you hire Fedora. He's a white Kevin Sumlin

That's better than 3-21 in the conference for 3 years

Why....He was an insubordinate a-hole...Alleva told him to change/fix the offense and he didn't. No part of that deserves respect.

Man there are people here that think O is better than jimbo fisher and chip Kelly. This shouldn't be a surprise

Where does anything sound like that? Yeah O has done well since taking over, but LSU has been after their man since last November. They've probably contacted the agents of some coaches to gauge interest, but that's normal. Nothing has indicated LSU decision makers are scrambling around the country talking to agents or coaches because they're being told NO over and over.

Dude, O is the best LSU coach ever. Have you seen his record?
