One of the dumbest 4th down calls I’ve seen in a long time. And it came after getting to see the defense twice after timeouts

Probably thought back to a play that had tremendous success against a highly rated team and ran with it. Just didn’t realize that team was LSU that legit was too stupid to try and stop the 1 thing Milroe was good at.

Rees had no idea how to use Milroe…kid is an archetype for an option QB and he kept trying to pigeonhole him into another role. Someone like Jamey Chadwell would have a field day with Bama’s talent.

It looked to me Milroe was supposed to follow the pulling guard, but decided to run to the 0 gap.

100%. Watching the replay, that play was bumbled as frick. I have no idea what they were supposed to be doing, but it wasn't what happened.
