re: Two previously unknown sermons by St. Augustine of Hippo found in Polish library...

Augustine introduced a lot of Gnostic garbage into Christian thought. He thought sin was passed on in literal semen.

We don't give a frick. That's our thing. "Nobody cares, work harder. Stop your whining bitch." Thats why we're more resilient than most.
re: If there is no heaven or hell, does the purpose & meaning of your life change?

If there is no heaven or hell, your life has no meaning. You're no different than the squirrel you hran over on your way home. You die, you're forgotten after a couple of generations, and your entire life was a waste of time.

Apparently not. When an MMA fighter wants to make money, they have to go to boxing.

Laugh all you want. Doesn't change the fact that Tyson is the most overrated heavywieght in history. One legit win was against Spinks and he was at the end of his career. Didn't beat any legit fighters in their prime except maybe Tony Tucker. Knocked out by Douglas, struggled with Ruddock, 0-3 against the two best heavyweights of his era.

The problem is we mixed socialism with our Constitution. You take ss, Medicare, and medicaid out alone and we're just fine.

OK, I have mixed feelings on this. One one hand, he has no right telling people what to set their AC on. On the other hand, these people will set their thermostat on 65 and then accuse the power company of price gouging when they can't afford their bill.

Because the media has always hated soldiers who fought AGAINST communism.
