After watching that let's be happy we didn't get him

Bad snap was supposed to be a pass to the RB. Good snap it’s a touchdown.

Apparently, it was an RPO, which should have gone to the outside back based on how the play developed, but the low snap and pressure took all of that away and Milroe tucked and ran

Why didn’t Saban swat that call down?

It looked to me Milroe was supposed to follow the pulling guard, but decided to run to the 0 gap.
yep
Low snap made him panic and he just ran into a pile of bodies and tripped over his own OL. Really poor from him. He could've just run to the sideline and tried to dive to the pylon and would've had a better chance.

I thought the RB motioned out of the backfield before the snap?

Saban sure threw him under the bus in his presser. “Tommy thought we should run that …”

I think Milroe fooked it up
100%. Watching the replay, that play was bumbled as frick. I have no idea what they were supposed to be doing, but it wasn't what happened.

I’m still in disbelief with that call
Wasn't Saban standing there with a headset on ? Could have nixed the call.

I don't understand the infatuation with Rees. I mean, it matters that two of the best in the business (Saban and Kelly) think so highly of him, but I haven't seen the results on the field to justify it.

It's not his fault his QB uses crayons

How is that good news?
Posted on 1/2/24 at 11:49 am to The Pirate King
If I had to guess, it probably wasn’t a straight up QB sneak. There were probably some check with me calls and it depended on what the defense showed. It’s 100% plausible that milroe decided to run on his own.

They did not even allow time for it to develop and let the middle open up.
Agree; Milroe was impatient and made a quick decision rather than wait for blocks or take it wide.

It was supposed to be a pass to the rb #5 who had two blockers out in front of him. Probably would have scored if the ball was thrown decently. But the snap was low again and milroe panicked and didn't follow #77 who was his blocker if he decided to keep instead of throwing it.
It was a good call if he would have got a good snap and made a good throw but the chances of that happening was kinda low. Should have just rolled him out and gave him a run pass option.

After running a QB draw up the middle from the 3 on 4th down
thats actually not what he called and if the QB doesnt panick and runs the play correctly following the pulling guard, he walks in the end zone. as usual the pirate king is a dumbass and doesnt know what he is talking about. and what part of that play at all looked like a draw?

Milroe screwed up.
It wasn’t entirely Milroe’s fault. It was a low snap and the right tackle got his shite pushed in. The Michigan DE on that side pushed the RT 3 yards into the backfield and straight into Milroe.
