Man I might be bias on this but why does it seem like only LSU players get these season long suspensions?!

I know BDJ wanted to be an investment banker, if football didn’t work out. Is it possible this young man is studying something extremely difficult and just doesn’t have time? He may want to change majors to kinesiology or something similar.

My hunch is that it's not because of low IQ or Cognitive issues. I do suspect that no one ever sat them down and said "Oh by the way, you have to go to class too".

My son plays college ball and said, Dad, basically you just have to show up to class. Nearly impossible to fail with the help that is available.

This is 100% true. Just listen to some of the post game interviews of NFL players, those guys can barely string together a complete sentence

truly almost impossible to not stay academically eligible with the BS classes most athletes take. I mean, really, I think a middle school kid could pass those classes.

A friend of mine, who works with em said, You gotta just don't care at all to fail the classes they take.

I knew someone that used to work as a tutor, circa 2011, and she said it was the most annoying job ever. They would show up to tutor sessions and just clown around and they were there for 101 level classes.

BK said Emery is in good standing with the team though in his interview. Dammit. Kid been suspended half his career feels like lol.

I mean that's fine and all but you can't just bomb the classes.

He’s not bombing anything. This is a continuation from last years mistake. Needs to sit two more games apparently. That is freakn terrible for a student athlete. He sat out the entire year and now in his very last year to showcase his talent to his future bosses, they take more games away from him? WTF? I hope his appeal is granted! It should be, because this makes no sense and helps no one. He’s been punished for his actions, there’s no need to subject the kid to more. Frick the NCAA! Let’s form an SEC governing body. We don’t need them anymore.

I was talking about John Emory. Jones is another deal altogether. I haven’t heard his name in the practices at all so he must have just quit.

Nobody seems to know exactly what happened with Emery last season but this latest BS appears to be IN SPITE of Emery doing what he’s been asked to do according to CBK at least. This sounds like the lazy ass, POS, fuk-sticks from LSU compliance or more than likely the ass-shats from the NCAA!!

Is he an Interdisciplinary Studies kid? I thought that program was geared for students without STEM abilities.

This is amazing since NONE of these athletes attend class anymore. They are all "online" where someone else can do their work. Is LSU not doing this? If so, they are killing themselves. Joe B himself said he never stepped on campus other than graduation from LSU.

Joe Burrow was a Grad Student. Do undergrads have that option?

There is just nobody to blame but themselves. They have all the help in the World for any educational assistance they might need but still can’t or won’t do what they need to do. Not much else to say..

You think just maybe he essential getting good information on what classes were neeeded? Emery literally is going through it right now. The last staff didnt even bother checking on class requirements

If you are talking about our compliance department, you are exactly correct. LSU beats itself more than any other school in SEC. Emery would be playing at Alabama...you can believe that!

My wife was in a math class with all athletes. Day 1 the teacher wrote a problem on the board "X-3=5". My wife laughed because she thought it was a joke. All eyes turned and glared at her like she was some kind of mytical witch with mind reading voodoo. Then she realized the teacher was serious and these guys didn't have a clue. Incredibly easy is entirely accurate for the vast majority.
