What a clusterfrick this whole Brian Kelly LSU thing was.

The jersey bylaws were right there. And they have been there.

Kinda lost in this is the DJ “wore this jersey his whole life” like bruh put on 3 and ball if jerseys don’t mean shite. Wait I thought jerseys don’t mean shite? I’m confused lol
A lot of LSU people never liked JD ever since he came. They low key hate him and it’s coming out again now. It’s archived in TD. They wanted Nuss so bad lol.

JD shouldn’t have given them ammo like this. Or at least his team. Talk about this however long you have to under the table.
You’d say something if you felt disrespected too.
The fact that these bums at Florida gets to wear Tebows number is nuts by the way. Tebow was a football god.
I really feel like dude is an LSU guy. They just didn’t appreciate giving his number out after 3 years that’s kinda wild. Like that’s what a Heisman gets you?

That being said. I think we can all agree on this give the kids 5 years and then circulate them again. Put the statue up after 5 years everyone is happy no one feels undervalued compare to someone else. I think Lane is of the mind state of “You want 5? 9? Here it is come on down”.

This is the best way to go about all this. Measured comment man! Give the kids the numbers if they are in rotation. All of them minus 20.
I’m all for giving these kids whatever number they want. If they want 5 or 9 give them the number. They aren’t retired.
He didn’t win because his defense was the worst in LSU history. A lot of yall wanna shite on him now and have revisionist history about how bad that side of the ball was.

3 years before re issuing your jersey? As a Heisman winner? Id feel a way about that too.
9 should be still in rotation if it’s not permanently retired. 20 is off the board because they permanently retired it.

Let these Heisman winners get 5 years no one gets to wear the jersey, then give them a statue after the 5th year. Equal for all. No splitting hairs about championships or if you wanna make it about that, then state it in the bylaws.

Giving JD (a Heisman winner) 3 years before putting his jersey in circulation again is straight disrespect btw. 3 years that’s all he gets?
I been waiting for a reason to get a 33 jersey lol

Cam is an absolute lock.

The only issue is whether his is first ballot or not.
As someone who now lives in Arizona, I can confirm.
And I mean go watch the Saints practice videos. Music blaring. This isn’t new or isolated to LSU.
Salmen High School - Slidell
Alan Risher - Football
Mike Sutton - Football
Mike Fontenot - Baseball

Chris Duhon went to Salmen the year before i got there. Then went to Duke, won the natty and all that.

Matt Forte was right up the road at Slidell High when i was in high school.

Kelani Brown (PJ Browns daughter) went to Salmen. Won the natty with Kim at Baylor in 2019. Currently in the WNBA.

I bet they are all on Tyson's nuts right now lol #receipts
That's the most dumb part. Two dudes wearing the same number....why lol. Like don't you want your own identity out there? Why you wanna be the "other #10" lol
That over the shoulder catch is so difficult man. Dude head was damn near touching his back trying to find that ball lol
All the numbers need to go back into circulation. Just go ahead and do the circle of jersey numbers, do something special for the Heisman guys and statues all that and then give them a period of time with no one wearing the number then put them back in circulation. There's too many people on these football teams now to be blocking out numbers.
