Yes, actually. Where did his butt (or other body part that would down him) touch the ground and where was the ball? You don't sound like you would be opposed to a player diving head first and picking up additional yardage.
Wasn't there, but definitely the INT in the Clemson game this year to start the LK era. Could feel that shite through the TV.
I disagree, the rule needs to be that they are down when they are down by literally every other way in the game. Once they initiate the act of giving themselves up, they are protected against hits. If they attempt a fake, its an unsportsmanlike penalty of some sort. The micro analyzing of frame by frame review to determine the exact instant the hips started to drop is ridiculous.

Perhaps, but its one thing to dominate an opponent because you are athletically superior and entirely different when you execute at a high level. We weren't running them down from behind or missing tackles. They never got to the edge and there were always multiple defenders crashing on the ball. DLine contained well and didn't run themselves out of play. There was 1 busted assignment in the secondary, but otherwise tight coverage. No holes in the zones and guys passing off nicely. That product on Saturday was CLEARLY different than what we saw LY against Clemson.
As much as folks have talked about Kiffin being mad about the late touchdown, people havent mentioned Blake on camera basically saying "dammit, you gotta be fukkin kidding me." when they scored. He was just as pissed.

Just add it to the list of folks twisting the story to paint him the villain. If you go back and watch it again, its pretty clear he thought the interview was over. The full quote was him telling Holly just how hard it was and how much energy it took for him to NOT say "imagine if we had pros."

And you could tell he was feeling it. That clip of him wagging his tongue after a first down catch and then running back to block on the line the next play said it all. Thise guys knew what they had and were not letting off the gas all night.
