Their parent company is based out of Belgium so who knows

Maybe they're just trying to expand their American brand to other markets

This is all going to be a shite show and I’m here for it.

Why did Qatar even want to host the World Cup?

Influence, as a collective they also have way more money than they can spend so they go out and spend it on frivolous things.

While you and I might buy a new TV, Quatar has so much money they bought the world cup

It’s mostly corruption with fifa and you would argue the Muslim countries are more conservative, hence no drinking.

They just use liberal propaganda, like equality, gay rights, the game is for everyone type shite. But then put the World Cup in countries not friendly to gays or women.

I believe good old fashion bribes had more to do with awarding the WC than politics.

They sell American beer and spirits outside of America. People all over drink jack daniels.

Some of y'all are eat up with the politics and see shite where it doesn't it exist. This has nothing to do with liberalism. It has everything to do with bribes and religious conservatism.

It’s their country with their own culture. Kinda like entering Russia with dope and crying about going to prison for 9 years. You’re not in the USA bitch. Don’t go to the stadium if you want to drink.

I love the “act like I say but don’t control how I act” crowd.

FIFA is such a disgrace. This tourney easily could’ve been moved to the US. Everyone would’ve enjoyed themselves, and it could’ve been in the summer without having to interrupt club seasons. And I just read the head of FIFA is running unopposed to regain his position. Are Europeans the most corrupt people on this planet? Seems that way.

This is quite literally the opposite of liberalism.

That's not the point. They lied - told everyone that beer would be allowed within the stadium perimeter. Here's a headline from the Doha News:

quote:

Qatar to allow alcohol ‘within stadium perimeter’ prior to kick off at World Cup games

Then, 48 hours before the first match, they reverse course and ban it. That's the problem.

Grow the frick up. You sound like a child. “Mommy! They said….!” They changed their minds. They didn’t lie.

I wonder what the legal issues are with this now that Qatar has banned sales.

There is bud and Heineken on tap at nearly every bar in Europe.

Biggest myth ever that Europeans don’t drink shite beer.
