50 to 55% of Talarico’s money comes from Texas
That makes me feel a little better about things. Thank you!

That’s money for those candidates’ campaigns, right? Like Texans for Talarico or Texans for Paxton?
I think the PACs that will run ads against Talarico have a bunch of money and will spend. Paxton’s a huge POS whom not many Americans or businesses what their names of public record giving money directly to. However, they’ll give money to PACs that promote conservative social positions or pro-business positions, and those orgs will run the ads exposing Talarico as more like a CA leftist than some down home Texan.

But yes Cornyn was more electable than Paxton yes.
I think Cornyn loses this election.
He got slaughtered by Paxton.
Cornyn is massively uninspiring.
While a lot of GOPe may stay home in November, an enormous amount of MAGA and MAGA GOP would have stayed home in November with Cornyn on the ballot. A lot more, imo.

All of this is going to happen to America, it’s just a matter of when. And it will result in armed conflict.
I'm afraid that you're right. I pray that you're wrong.

Same things about Trump, same things about “MAGA voters,” which I have no doubt you define as anyone who doesn’t jump in and participate in incessant trashing of Trump…..in other words, normal adults.
Just proved the point my guy. If you outwardly support Trump and claim you’re MAGA that makes you a MAGA voter. At no point did I say that trashing or not trashing Trump is the defining characteristic lol. But you put your blinders on to someone else’s outside thought and made a broad assumption with zero basis.

Texas and SC are not in play
Posted on 8/28/26 at 5:12 pm to LuckyTiger
there is a healthy amount of scare tactics around the GOP making sure people vote in the election - see Karl Rove appearances on Fox News. He is relishing shitting all over Paxton daily on FNN but it serves its purpose
Houston media is convinced Dem voter apathy in Harris County in the midterms will doom Talarico and a host of Dem candidates
Republicans dont poll, Republicans in Texas really dont poll.

Well we’ll find out in roughly two months. But the buyers remorse on Paxton is clearly very real.
Cornyn may not have won either but he puts up a more competent campaign in comparison.

Seriously??? Lmao!! Those polls are useless and nothing more than propaganda for the Marxist Dems.
If you don't believe me..... look at the two recent senate run off elections in Michigan and Wisconsin...
It's not a poll....
Let's see how it turns out.......

You are wasting your time with some of these panicans. There is no way that freak is winning TX. If he did win, then it is over and the nut jobs will be well on there way to a communist country.

Trump gonna have to keep doing the heavy lifting for the weak Republicans?

Typical response from a pu$$y republican and / or RINO trash. You have a guy that votes the correct way against a f@g, phony, communist and you have the audacity to call Paxton weak ? You guys are the reason we can't win the long game. If you don't get 100% of what you want you stay home. Cornyn was so great wasn't he ???
Relax man.
I'm referring to the milquetoast GOPe moneymen as the weak Republicans, not Paxton.

Paxton is going to stomp a mud-hole el'freako.
Most are not even paying attention to elections right now.
Once Texans see this creep-o for what it is, they are going to drop this freakO clown like a hot potato.

I think Paxton lost the election with the way he handled Sorsby. I just don’t see him recovering from it.
