Beto was never leading in the polls. The nearest he ever approached Cruz was the 3% loss margin on Election Day.

What could possibly come out about a homosexual pedophile that would make people from Tejas refuse to vote for him?

Well known that Cornyn would have won easily, Paxton would be close. He's a terrible candidate. Bad choice. Disliked across the state.

Big money Texans (Rowling for example) won't meet with Paxton. They know he's a criminal dirtbag

So, the idiot Texans will "show Paxton" by not voting and getting this country closer to Communism. Got some real smart Cowboys over there.

They need to think about what's best for the Country, not what is best for Paxton.

So let me get this straight, he’s “disliked across the state” by the same people who voted for him over Cornyn, and Cornyn would have extensively outperformed the guy who outperformed him - with the same sector of voters? Go ahead and mark me down for “confused.”

Just for shits and giggles, do you think Biden was better than Trump?

I'll explain it:

Dems fake the polls

Trolls come on and try and build up momentum off of fake polls.

I've been saying that for a while

But one thing to consider, a lot of these ACTING like republicans are really on here just to try and make it like Dems are making headway on turning voters. MSM is in on it, as well as these fake pollsters.

Cornyn was viewed by the maga crowd as disloyal to DJT. Similar to some of the others that were primaried out. Turnout in the texas primary was really low. Big mistake. Moderates, Dems and independents will not vote Paxton.
The guy was impeached by a majority republican house......in Texas. Hes a criminal pos

Three numbers tell me everything I need to know about this forthcoming election:

Talarico 53%
Paxton 30%

That's the margin by which Texas women prefer Talarico over Paxton -- 23% -- per poll averages as reported by 538, a polling service, in the past week.

Women make up a majority of the Texas electorate, and if the midterm election of 2018 is any barometer, women will turn out in this year's election, IN DROVES.

I don’t think you’re following my point. I was somewhat facetiously pointing out that the poster to whom I replied more or less said that in the general Cornyn would have been a more popular candidate with the same people who just demonstrated the opposite with their primary votes.

You know what? The Texas R's really screwed the pooch this year, their boy Danny P. dry fricked the Hemp ban right on through the Texas legislative session with a boner so big that now you can get life for possessing something that was legal 45 days ago. I'm sure he's proud of himself, and the locals have noticed.

Yeah they fricked up, and they're going to pay, and rightly so. It's about time the boomer GOP in Texas finally fades away.

Maybe they at least can reinvent themselves after this blue wave that's about to catch them off-guard, with some younger blood thats not living in the 1950's.

Well we do know that at least Ken Paxton will always do what is best for Ken Paxton.

I still have seen more John Cornyn signs in yards over the last few months than Ken Paxton signs. Talarico signs are everywhere.

I still think Paxton is going to win, but there is at least enthusiasm over Talarico at the moment and basically none for Paxton.

Trump and Elon are going to step in IMO.

This is why people always cheering about the DNC being broke are missing the big picture. Dems have an almost limitless amount of cash they can funnel to whoever they want. Just because the DNC is nearly bankrupt doesnt impact all the NGO controlled accounts out there totaling billions that have been stolen the last few years and are ready to be directed anywhere needed.

I think the DNC is better at spreading the money around than Republicans. Republicans like to hold money and play cat and mouse games with candidates.

There is an old coastal restoration joke someone told me. Money is better spent on the bank than keeping it in the bank.
