Wasn’t Trump supposed to be at least as “unpopular” last election?

He was running against a severely unpopular candidate who didn't go through a primary process. It was an easy victory for even an unpopular candidate like Trump.

I hope you don't think that Trump is actually popular right now

Staggering? From what? MSM sponsored 'polls'? There are still a shatload of rural Texans that see Talarico's BS.

follow up question... where is his funding originating?

According to the Texas Tribune, which will give your phone AIDS btw, 50 to 55% of Talarico’s money comes from Texas with over half of that coming from Travis County.

Most of his out of state money comes from California, New York, Illinois, and Massachusetts.

And to your point voter turnout decreased in 24 compared to 20. People weren’t happy with their choices in candidates and many stayed home.

While midterms generally have lower turnouts than presidential election years, people will be motivated to vote this time around. MAGA is super unpopular at the moment and it ain’t looking like it’ll tick up anytime soon. Expect a much bigger turn out this year in 26 than the last midterm in 22.

This is the second post mentioning polls.

This thread isn’t about polls.

It’s about money.

Yeah. I don't think we'll see a blue wave or a blood bath but I expect the dems to take control of the house.

I don't think the average MAGA voter has any clue how the rest of the population feels about Trump right now. And it almost seems like he's intentionally doing shite to burn the mid terms at this point. Lake America? No one cares about that shite. Fix a real problem bitch.

Seriously??? Lmao!! Those polls are useless and nothing more than propaganda for the Marxist Dems.
If you don't believe me..... look at the two recent senate run off elections in Michigan and Wisconsin...

It's not a poll....

Your view of Trump is clouding any thoughts you can have on this subject.

Am I missing an image or something because I do not see any polls in this thread.

No. I have a clear view of reality. He is objectively unpopular at the moment.

Whether I like him or not is irrelevant.

Trump gonna have to keep doing the heavy lifting for the weak Republicans?

Typical response from a pu$$y republican and / or RINO trash. You have a guy that votes the correct way against a f@g, phony, communist and you have the audacity to call Paxton weak ? You guys are the reason we can't win the long game. If you don't get 100% of what you want you stay home. Cornyn was so great wasn't he ???

Find me some evidence that there was voter fraud by the millions. Not just cause Donny boy says so. 2 years into his 2nd term don’t you think we’d have some “justice” by now.

Y’all ain’t gonna like hearing it but truth hurts sometimes. Sorry you ate that shite up though.

One thing that helps and in some cases may save Republicans is that Democrats are nominating bad candidates: weird Marxists.

Normally this year would be a slam dunk for Democrats and a bloodbath for Republicans:

- the historical trend;

- Republicans are playing defense instead of offense with many more Republican seats up for election than Democrat seats;

- Trump gifted the Democrats a massive unforced error by starting an unending war in the Middle East in an election year while the country is still dealing with inflation and affordability is the #1 definitive issue with voters, truly one of the dumbest political moves I’ve ever witnessed;

- Republicans are running their fair share of uninspiring or controversial candidates;

Everything is set up perfectly for a blue tsunami.

But fortunately Democrats nominated people like a woman beating Nazi who repeatedly talked about how he likes to rape and a fake doctor Islamist Marxist who hates Jews and has family members in terrorist groups and whose best bud/supporter says America sucks and deserved 9/11 and a pasty obviously closeted new age religion pastor Marxist who believes there are 6 genders and hates meat and cattle ranches and loves transgenderism.

If Texas Democrats had nominated a non Marxist normal person then I think Republicans would be in a lot more real trouble.

But Democrats are obviously motivated and Republicans are obviously not so we’ll see how it turns out in November.

All this bitching about MSM while Fox News rots the average MAGA voter’s brain. And that’s not to say other outlets aren’t trash. But people latch onto what they agree with and put blinders on to what doesn’t exactly line up with their way of thinking. Trump is more unpopular now than any point of either of his terms. If his unpopularity brought out as many voters as it did in 2020 it’s going to do the same, if not more given the way his popularity is trending, in 26 & 28.

Texas cannot fall or it is over for the republicans and we enter the age of the progressives and I have no desire to see that happen nationally. It's bad enough seeing cities and states fall to that garbage as it will end with communism. We've seen the Left over the last 20 years go from denying that there were socialistic leanings in the party to widely embracing it. What's the next 20 years gonna look like if they're even further emboldened and acquire power? That's scary stuff to me.

All of this is going to happen to America, it’s just a matter of when. And it will result in armed conflict.

ALL of which has been said before. Same things about Trump, same things about “MAGA voters,” which I have no doubt you define as anyone who doesn’t jump in and participate in incessant trashing of Trump…..in other words, normal adults.
