These sorry mother frickers absolutely refuse to fix our elections, and found a way to spin it and launder money. fricking amazing!

Watered down version of Save America Act (would be VOLUNTARY for states to comply) has a chance of passing the Senate.
quote:
The House on Wednesday unveiled a draft framework for a third shot at budget reconciliation, the party-line process that Republicans successfully used to ram through Trump’s "one big, beautiful bill" and a separate $72 billion package funding immigration enforcement for years to come. The latest $95 billion package is expected to focus on defense funding, farm assistance and the SAVE America Act. While specific details are still being negotiated, several sources familiar with Republicans’ planning told Fox News Digital that it won’t actually be the SAVE America Act tucked into the package. Instead, a $10 billion pot of money included in the budget blueprint released Wednesday is expected to incentivize states to adopt parts of the original SAVE America Act — first passed by the House earlier this year — to help cover implementation costs.

How is that different than what we have now?

Typical government, give the illusion you are doing something without changing anything.
Hopefully this will blow up in their face and the public will become more adamant about getting a real bill passed.

Crying shame when your own party forces you to concede on an 80/20 issue.

Elections are run by your local governments. Literally the easiest level for citizens to effect change. Expecting congress to fix this is laziness. Scott Pressler gave us all the model for fixing this. It’s at the local level not in DC.

And they will claim that they passed the SAVE Act. Trump needs to get ahead of this and not let them off the hook!

All the blue states when this passes.....

Now is not a shining light I suppose. Bringing attention to those that actively refuse could help eventual change. If nothing gets voted on in the first place in senate it dies on vine. If it is truly watered down then I guess being not voted on could give better pressure towards those useless politicians

So bilk the taxpayers, do nothing about elections whatsoever.
Sounds pretty much par for the course with those vermin.

Which is why I feel POTUS Trump can protect the elections come November using national security language and the enforcement it calls for with 80% of the people supporting such protection.

Fixed.

That’s exactly what they are doing.
Just like that pork loaded housing bill.
It’s all about staying in office and siphoning off as much money as possible.

So nothing gets done and more money is pissed away…lining some connected person’s pockets. Typical. frick all politicians.

Now we are paying them to cheat.
Think about it.
The blue states will take the money and keep doing what they’re doing.
It’s a fricking grant! It’s not like they have to pay it back if they fail to meet the requirements.
fricking amazing!!!

It's completely worthless then. frick that.

Watering it down would be worse than not passing it at all. If a watered down version doesn't actually secure elections, then the talking point is that elections are safe because of this, and no one should complain.

would be VOLUNTARY for states to comply
————————————————-
So the Red States comply and have rules about who can vote, while the Blue States just have a feee for all.
We’d be better off with no bill than a bill that holds one side to a standard while allowing the other side to ignore all standards.
