Then that, by definition, is not a law.

Elections are run by your local governments. (Many of whom are corrupt) Literally the easiest level for citizens to effect change. (Unless their election laws allow for a corrupt system)

Expecting corrupt national politicians to expunge other corrupt politicians is even sillier. Again, voting out your local politicians is infinitely easier than getting Congress to move. Bitching about congress isn’t a strategy.

How exactly are you supposed to "vote out local politicians" when your laws allow for party machine tactics like ballot harvesting and curing? Do you honestly think in most parts of California, those who want voter ID have any prayer of making a change through their vote? Even if they managed to get traction on the campaign trail, we've seen what happens with the Spencer Pratt situation. It's a corrupt system and it doesn't ALLOW change at the ballot box. You're correct that I don't place much hope in the national rats to do anything about their own, but expecting a vote that doesn't count to be able to effect change is more ludicrous.

Well boys, we are going to have to cheat our asses off in every election from now on. We tried to do it the right way now it’s time to do it their way.

Our only chance to get it passed is to allow citizens a certain amount of time to obtain necessary citizenship documents , like a year.

So the Red States comply and have rules about who can vote, while the Blue States just have a feee for all.

I mean if the red states comply then wouldn’t it at least do what has happened in Florida where it went from purple to securely red?

Watering it down would be worse than not passing it at all. If a watered down version doesn't actually secure elections, then the talking point is that elections are safe because of this, and no one should complain.

They are mocking us and tying a grant to it to reward themselves.

Establishment RINO-Pub types would never willingly do anything that could severely hinder their Democrat “colleagues” and the continued march leftward.

Just taking this opportunity to again point out that Republicans do not control the republican party.

What is more devastating a 5 star player signing with your rival or a 5 star players devoted to your rivals team signing with your team and throws games here and there. Because that is where we are at.

So bilk the taxpayers, do nothing about elections whatsoever.

That’s exactly what they are doing.

Just like that pork loaded housing bill.

It’s all about staying in office and siphoning off as much money as possible.

welcome to Congress circa 20+ years ago.

None of these frickers will do anything of any substance.

People can get rid of them in elections, but stupid people do stupid things and vote these asses in time after time.

In other news, NFL is allowing teams to "Opt-In" to rules for the 2026 season.
Fanduel is moving rapidly to favor the Patriots.

Black peoples, as brainwashed as they are, don’t want illegals voting and taking their share of the pie.

Well, maybe you have a point.

Now we are paying them to cheat.

Think about it.

The blue states will take the money and keep doing what they’re doing.

It’s a fricking grant! It’s not like they have to pay it back if they fail to meet the requirements.

fricking amazing!!!

Same shite, different day. When do they vote on this mess?

Allowing states to control their elections
would be an improvement. over federal intervention…
