How exactly are you supposed to "vote out local politicians" when your laws allow for party machine tactics like ballot harvesting and curing?
Then why vote at all? Or even care what congress does or doesn’t do? You’ve already given up.

quote:

Do you honestly think in most parts of California, those who want voter ID have any prayer of making a change through their vote?
Do you think it’s easier to fix this at the national level than local level? Why? Do you think Congress members are less corrupt and accountable than your local election officials? Do you think Congress is good at enforcing ethical behavior across all local election entities? I don't. They can’t even enforce ethics amongst their own members.

It seems you prefer the iron fist of bigger, more authortarian, government—even though you think that those wielding the iron fist are a product of even more corrupt and untouchable local officials. It’s an odd dissonance, I don’t understand.

Allowing states to control their elections would be an improvement. over federal intervention…
Republicans have been saying exactly that since the VRA was passed.

I hate politicians. The majority of them deserve to be treated like traitors. They always find a way to protect the grift and fck over the American people.

Republican Senators are refusing to fulfill their Constitutional duty to represent the will of their constituents.

I started a thread related to this.
JD Vance is the Senate President and he could step in and override the unelected Parliamentarian. This would put more pressure on Thune and the GOP Senate.
So.... where is JD at? Why hasn't this happened?
Best guess is that Trump doesn't want him to interfere with the Senate, not before midterms.
But shite, Idk...... ????
