If someone was killed performing a controlled detonation, it is because the explosive was not stable or the “downed drone” was still weaponized. Do mistakes happen…sure, but who knows what happened here. I’m pretty sure it isn’t like most people are thinking and the guy didn’t use a long enough fuse or take proper cover. Something probably malfunctioned.

We don’t, collectively, hate lawyers enough.

What we did in the Balkans was wrong. I was over there in 96, 97, 98, and 00. The whole thing bothers me to think back on. My issue with everything after 01 is we fought with both arms and a leg tied behind our backs most of the time. Losing friends/brothers during that time then witnessing the withdraw after I retired makes me sick to my stomach also. Their lives were sacrificed for nothing. Outside of a few moments, what did we accomplish? Is what it is, I guess. I’m glad my son has no interest in serving.
