I don’t begrudge anyone who makes loads of money as long as it’s legal.

Bone cancer is no joke. I saw my uncle slowly die from it. He had blisters on his palms, soles and inside his mouth from the chemotherapy. He was a general contractor and as strong, tough and mean as they come. My mama said his toughness worked against him in the end as he just refused to give up even when the end was in sight.
Stephen Colbert played an iconic conservative pundit for nine years on Comedy Central's The Colbert Report (2005–2014). His character was a brilliant, satirical caricature of right-wing cable news personalities, heavily inspired by Fox News host Bill O'Reilly

Where have you been, buddy?
Colbert’s writers were only “funny” when he was a fake conservative because we have a sense of humor and can make fun of our own. The Left, on the other hand, has none and is a perpetual victim.
See ya, loser. Take Kimmel with you.

I don’t follow NASCAR. Is this the Busch that nobody liked or the other one?
The people will have to rise up regardless of the risks and odds against them.

If we know where the uranium is, monitor it and just bomb anything that comes near it.

I highly doubt there are any military targets left standing to make a difference.

Declare victory and move on.

I would much prefer pickled or fried okra to boiled.

Exactly! I don’t miss the building, I miss the pizza! Bring back the thick, yeasty and greasy pizza. Today’s PH is unrecognizable compared to my childhood.

Is that “cop” down with the syndrome?
I heard someone say that “Education” was not about the kids, it’s a federal jobs program. I suspect it’s the same on a local level. People’s hesitancy to give teachers a raise is tied to their suspicion that most of the funds will be lost to fraud, abuse or simple ignorance.

I don’t think fright brokers have any control or influence over who is driving the carrier’s trucks.

If they didn’t, and they do, they certainly will now. Brokers know, by the accepted rates, whether a carrier is sketchy or not.

AI in political ads

Posted by Bamafig on 5/15/26 at 10:04 am
For the first time I’m seeing heavy AI in these ads. There is usually a small blurb about the use of digital images. I’m curious to see how quickly the elected officials will push to stop this. They only care when it’s there ox that’s gored.
To be clear, I’m not referring to the obvious AI ads like Pratt, though I suspect the Machine is looking into those as well. The swamp has the great advantage of money in traditional campaigns. AI will upset the apple cart.
When daddy gets home from China, he better gather up all the kids for a “come to Jesus” meeting. He can’t even go away for a few days!
Suckeyes, out of conference. Auburn, in conference.
I usually only see Mexicans inside the bank.
