Trump doesn’t need black voters, he just needs to ensure they don’t show up for someone the media is trying to portray as a civil rights hero. Pointing out she’s an opportunist using them for political gain will suffice for that. When he hammers home her record of locking up more black men for minor crimes than a 1800s slave master it’ll bring it home even more.

The pandering/collard greens/black tropes thing is lame but it's not like she is pretending to be something she technically isn't. She is Black/Indian so she can do that, and I am sure she had many AA and Indian traditions/meals/experiences. Trump isnt winning anyone new over with going after her ethnicity here. Not really. He is mainly Irish/hindu predominantly. He does have some African heritage in the family tree, but not, he is not an AA. He is more white than he is anything else.
