No, it will not work.

One of two thing will happen, maybe both.

1) people will lose purpose. Sitting on your arse is great, but doing it for too long doesn’t work out well. Fall out in many ways.

2) if we hit that super intelligence state they claim is possible, the ai will realize we are a parasite holding it back. and that is completely true, we do nothing and they subsidize our life because a handful of humans created it?

My best friend went to bama, we snuck him in the LSU student section the year after we lost to bama in the natty. Was another heart breaking loss. He was in a bama jersey the whole game and nothing happened to him.
