Gasoline is not a huge issue. We are on the verge of a diesel and jet fuel crisis. Also, a lot of fertilizer comes from that area. Food supply will be adversely affected.

Right. China cut their imports in half. Also, I believe the SPR is the lowest level in 40 years.

It’s uncanny how pert near every single one of your posts has a negative slant towards Trump. Mere coincidence, I’m sure, yet still uncanny. Because I know how you seem to view yourself as a levelheaded and independent kinda guy. But again, I’m sure it’s just coincidence.

He's not and it's his shitty attempt to move the goal posts now that our dear beloved leader can't do what he said he was going to do.
Luckily I can afford $4.50 gas prices but you can't argue is not outrageous. Same when prices were high under Biden

You’re still trying to make oil prices prove something they don’t prove bubba.
If killing Iranian leaders and wrecking their nuclear program is what you’re calling a success, fine. Make that argument.
But your oil argument doesn’t hold up. Your own July number was $83.76. Brent was about $88.52 yesterday and climbed roughly 6% this week.
Oil prices move on demand, inventories, production, spare capacity and supply disruptions. Hormuz matters, but that ain’t the only hand on the wheel. And countries can’t just reroute everything around it. There isn’t enough bypass capacity.
So call the military outcome a success if you want. Just don’t point to an oil price, ignore everything else moving that price, and pretend it proves your case. That dog won’t hunt baw.

And let’s not forget there are states in this country that are gouging their residents at the pump by $1.50-$2.00 per gallon through state taxes and environmental regulations in an active attempt to discourage gasoline consumption to push “clean” energy.
I hope nobody in these states is complaining about a price increase due to the Iran war when they voted for artificial gasoline price hikes.

No..I call it child like campaigning
Like any politician, he panders to his base. Lots of whom heard him promise to lower energy costs by 30 to 50%.
Instead he started a war in the Middle East that raised prices 30%.
I believe politicians should be held accountable to their promises. If he wasn't going to lower energy costs, he shouldn't have told the American people to hold him accountable for it.
Accountability and integrity are actually hallmarks of emotional maturity. The exact opposite of "child like ignorance" that you ascribe.

Gas around Houston was 2.15 for regular Jan/Feb. Its now been above 3.25 for the past 6 months, hitting as high as 3.89.
Sure, in comparison to Biden, its not terrible, but Biden didn't run on the lowest gas prices ever and putting American's first. I don't see why all the pro-iran Trumpkins can't admit he fricked up and its hurting average Americans.
