That's not the point--you can't make these claims that the people shouldn't care about gas now that it's gone wrong, when the guy built his entire campaign on affordability and gas.
Not keeping your campaign promises is typically considered a failure in the real world.

You left out the part where Brent hit roughly $126 a barrel during this “success.”
You also left out that gasoline is now averaging about $4.08 nationally, up 29% from a year ago, and that Trump himself is now telling Americans to accept higher gas prices as the cost of the Iran war.

I hope you are right, but I'm constantly seeing victory claimed based on events that haven't happened and then they never happen.
For example, is this win going to be before or after we win on the bills that were supposed to follow the BBB that were supposed to address spending and such?
I've been told prices were going to come down for a while now. And I see victories every 10 cents it goes down. It reminds me of my wife celebrating losing 5 lbs all the time while ignoring it's the same 5lbs over and over.
And I certainly don't think Biden prices are a win. And it's not even just the prices at the pump, it's an indicator beyond that. I for example already pay more than most because I buy gas with no ethanol. Higher prices affect much more than just what I pay at the pump.
I don't support this war at all. It's a huge mistake and a waste of resources.
