In 2023 and 2024, the strait never closed. Yet these were the prices:

2023:
January
82.50
February
82.59
March
78.43
April
84.64
May
75.47
June
74.84
July
80.11
August
86.15
September
93.72
October
90.60
November
82.94
December
77.63

2024:
January
80.12
February
83.48
March
85.41
April
89.94
May
81.75
June
82.25
July
85.15

Today, the strait is closed. That would mean less oil. That means higher prices. Right.

What was it last month?? July 2026 was $83.76 per barrel.

With the Strait closed. With Iran's leaders (50 plus) dead. With their nuke program in shambles. With them not being able to export nearly as much. With them increasingly not able to finance their terror groups in the region.

That is success. And the truth is, as these nations reroute to avoid the strait, prices will continue to fall.

It def hurts Iran and China more than us. We just have pussies who can’t help but cry about the price of gas.

The Campaign Promise: Trump repeatedly stated that his economic and drilling policies would reduce overall energy costs by 50% and bring regular gasoline down below $2 a gallon. The Follow-Up: At a subsequent rally in Indiana, Pennsylvania, he reiterated the pledge, tying his entire economic accountability directly to whether or not those reductions happened.

And let me guess. You thought he would just snap his fingers and make that happen. Not that action would have to be taken.

It’s a master class of geopolitical warfare. Only the true deranged America haters cannot see the brilliance of destroying the evil regime. In edition it neuters China and Russia and sends a message to them that they have no defense should the US decide to come after them.

And. Since WE are in control of the strait.
Iran is crumbling.

Imagine $40 a gallon for gas.
You can only get 3 gallons.
You better get to the station the night before you need gas and sleep there until it opens.

That's winning.

Oil prices stabilized because China has cut oil imports by 50% since the start of the Iran war. When China normalizes its oil imports the price will skyrocket.

The real question is why China is basically sacrificing to stabilize oil prices. The most common explanation is that big oil price increases destabilizes most major economies which in turn destroys China’s economy since they depend on cheap exports.

China can’t keep this up forever btw

This has less to do with Trump and more to do with facts.

This because of China importing half what they normally do based on a shift to nuclear energy. It has nothing to do with Trump.

Wrong. Because we control the strait.
