Second, he clearly pointed out the difference. Prior, the Oil was higher and the straight was open. Now it is lower and the strait is closed.

This is a sophomoric analysis. The Strait being closed makes oil prices higher than they otherwise would have been. It doesn’t necessarily make it more expensive than it was at some time in the past. There are other things affecting supply and demand.
