The genius of the 250th celebration is watching all the people drop out.

Once again Trump sets people up to show the country who they really are.
Country Music is full of lying posers who really hate their audiences.
The rest of the music industry can eat a bag of richards.
It will be interesting to see what performers end up playing and how it helps their careers.

What I don't understand is how/why the flaking performers agreed to the event in the first place. If you are ate up with OMB, just say no to begin with.
Sounds like a whole bunch of pissy entertainers' managers need firing.

Makes it easy to spot who hates America.

If you are unwilling to celebrate the country that helped you get rich then please, get the frick out. I'm serious. Get out.
This isn't a celebration of Trump. You are stating that you refuse to celebrate your own country. You are a sack of shite.
Oh and you originally agreed to do it, then your liberal friends got mad and you dropped out. You are pond scum. No. You are the little creatures that eat pond scum. Get the frick out.
Lucky for them, conservatives are weak willed. The NFL ban did almost nothing and people went right back to watching it. Kid Rock gave up Bud Light for 3 weeks then went back to drinking it. Conservatives are absolute crap at refusing to give money to people who hate them.

Garth Brooks certainly had a lot of baws fooled back in the 90's with his "new country" schtick.

Our nation is to celebrate two hundred and fifty years and what you see in your head is Trump.

No one of any real note is even involved in this. It is C list at best.

Maybe, but no one should have a doubt after this fiasco.

It appears at least a couple of them weren't even aware that they agreed to perform for it.

Well, they’re all saying the same thing. Maybe there is some truth to it.

Thing is, eventually they're going to have a roster and those people are going to do well. I think about it like this... If Biden was having a 250th birthday for America and my band was asked, I'd do it. Then when people ask, I'd say "I may or may not agree with the president but I love my country..." and I don't see how anyone would be able to give me all that much shite about it.
There is a litany of country music artists that are going to eventually play this... Classic rock artists, rappers, etc. They're out there. He's got people like Young MC backing out. Martina McBride. Start with the bottom of the barrel and go up. Eventually it's going to happen.

Aren’t Riley Green and Ella Langley supposed to perform?
Not exactly C list.

I was in my early 30's when Brooks got traction and I thought his music in general sucked. Outside of Friends in Low Places the rest of his songs seemed like a leftist/progressive poet looking for a melody to recite his poetry to. It's hard to listen to David Allen Coe, Waylon Jennings, Hank Jr, etc, and then a Garth Brooks song comes on the radio.....change the station.

This isn't hate. Its fear. These performers are being threatened by powers on the Left. “If you do this show, you're supporting fascism and we’ll end your career”. That sort of thing. Cowardly, yes. We should remember who folded.

Absolutely. I hope every last one of them starves in the street, at this point.

Trump's made every prayer breakfast he's ever attended all about Trump.
Why do you think the 250th birthday bash will be any different?
