Good gracious I don't remember tv broadcasts being so bad back then? That looked and sounded like it was in 1971.

LSU yes, Auburn looks like they have some tough teams as well. Finishing at A&M, at MSU and home vs Georgia in their last 3 series.

The DH is an abomination! Now we have pitch clocks and fricking interviews while the game is going on. Congrat's networks, you have turned the game into a circus with clowns running around the bases like a bad scene from Saturday Night Fever. Next will be the Savannah Bananas as the newest expansion team.

Good luck in the series this weekend Georgia. I have a bad feeling our team ERA is about to balloon.

• The end of this weekend’s series will mark the midway point of the regular season SEC schedule. Georgia enters the fifth week of SEC play with a one-game lead over Texas in the SEC standings.

• SEC teams entering the week ranked No. 1 statistically in the NCAA include:
» Florida with 7 shutouts
» Georgia with 93 home runs and .633 SLG pct.
» Auburn with a 4.42 strikeout-to-walk ratio, 1.09
WHIP and fewest walks allowed/nine innings (2.59)
» Auburn’s Jake Marciano with a 0.68 WHIP.

• The top-10 national attendance leaders in attendance this season are all from the SEC. LSU leads the nation in total attendance (255,315), while Mississippi State is first in average attendance (11,560). Other SEC schools ranked in the top-10 are Arkansas, Ole Miss, Texas, Tennessee, South Carolina, Florida, Texas A&M and Auburn.

• A total of 86 baseball players from current Southeastern Conference universities are listed on 2026 Major League Baseball Opening Day rosters. Twenty-nine Major League clubs had at least one former SEC player on the Opening Day roster. Florida has 12 former players on MLB rosters, while LSU has 11 and Vanderbilt as eight.

Maybe you should go next door to the ballpark if you need to liven things up sparky.

FSU Circus

He wasn't really interested in anyone else's players, he just wanted to brag about the freshman guy at A&M and disguised it as if he was interested in learning about other players.
I think it is hilarious that you are so perplexed as to why Florida fans rag on Mike White.

I still can’t believe FSU brought their pep band to a baseball game. What a bunch of posers.

I think it's cool how Florida has two great in-state rivals they play midweek out of conference games against every year that are traditionally well performing programs in Florida State and Miami.

We actually play a weekend series with Miami. Normally the 2nd series of the season. We play 3 midweek games vs FSU.

We also play midweek games against other in state teams. UNF, UCF, FAU, JU, FGCU, and Stetson. Maybe USF and FIU sometimes too.
