People are objecting to Trump making it more about himself. The country music artists said they agreed to play if it was truly nonpartisan and reflected everyone. The stupid proposed $250 bill, the UFC fight cage on the White House lawn, ballroom,etc. is turning people off bigly…

I’m not even saying it’s a bad thing. Clearly though, Trump is owning the America 250 thing as a combined celebration of himself along with America. The UFC Freedom 250 fight at the White House is being held on his 80th birthday. Proposed a $250 bill with trumps face on it. Commemorative America 250 passport with Trump’s face on it. The entire lineup was a bunch of C-listers at best. And honestly that pisses me off because I'm going to be there for it, and I wasn't even planning on seeing any of those shows anyway. Too many other things to see and do.
That said, if those artists careers weren't over before, I'd say it certainly is now. Those of us who just want to go enjoy a good time and celebrate the country are not happy.
And those who hate Trump and are taking this as win are also shitting on the performers with the "even these shitty artists (which they likely paid off) want nothing to do with Trump" attitude.
