Yeah, this was supposed to happen sometime early this year. We'll see when it actually rolls out.

As Jesus looked up, he saw the rich putting their gifts into the temple treasury. He also saw a poor widow put in two very small copper coins. “Truly I tell you,” he said, “this poor widow has put in more than all the others. All these people gave their gifts out of their wealth; but she out of her poverty put in all she had to live on.”

Indeed. God bless you, Mr. Musk.

Musk has been promising a $25,000 Tesla since 2020.
Musk has said that building a human-driven $25,000 car would be "pointless" unless the car was fully autonomous.
Musk has said that a regular $25,000 model would be "silly" and "at odds with what we believe".

So the 25K dream car you are thinking of has now turned into the 25k dream robo taxi that can hold two passengers and has no means for a human driver (in the car). I think what's limiting Tesla's growth at this point is Musk himself and more folks are starting catch on to that idea. His entrance into politics and siding politically with folks that are generally at odds with his consumer base of course hasnt helped Tesla either.

I cant help but wonder how these robo taxis will survive a night in any major city consider they level of vitriol we are currently seeing of the brand. They would be obvious and easy targets. Perhaps public sentiment will change by the time they get on the road.

If Elon made a 25k Model 2 and it is as well reviewed as the Model 3. He’d have the next Civic or Corolla on his hands: the vehicle that you see everywhere and is essentially the default car to recommend to anybody who just needs a reliable 4 wheels and 4 doors.

I agree that Elon’s own ambitions and dreams gets in the way of Tesla becoming the next Ford.

Bought himself in? There was no product or employees. You are an absolute idiot. He didnt buy himself in, he took over an idea and created one of the biggest businesses in the world. You lefties sure don't help yourself by never understanding the facts.

Elon is saving the world.

I’m also enjoying the boomers melt over the stock market. I hope we have a depression and the boomers lose everything.

TBH even if Musk hadn't taken a flame thrower to his consumer base , a 25K Model 2 was/is probably a another Musk pipe dream. Also something to consider is folks that are looking for an economy car may not live in place where overnight charging is practical or possible.

Everyone should be worried about the stock market. It's a house of cards propped up by the massive money printing since 2020. Smart boomers start moving their money into less volatile vehicles, with guaranteed returns. Especially those that have reached mandatory minimum withdrawal age.

Elon Musk said that between $1 billion and $3 billion is the richest anyone in the world actually is. He says you can’t spend $3 billion no matter what you do. Anything above that is just a number.

Several of my pro-fossil fuel friends own Teslas. One of them is one of my very best friends, and they believe the whole forced energy transition stuff from WEF and the previous Administration is dangerous. At the same time, a Tesla just simply works for them.

I don’t think Musk’s politics SHOULD be at odds with his consumer base. If they are, then his consumer base isn’t grounded in reality.

Less than a year ago Tesla was under $150. So it is still up 50% since then.

Nothing about tsla share price has been grounded in reality for a long time. It's the original meme stock with an unhinged runaway valuation
