The amount of financial pain Musk is willing to endure based on principle is commendable

While all the other tech bro/COE's are bending the knee to do anything to keep stock prices high, you have to admire Musk's willingness to watch his companies valuations PLUMMET because he feels changes are needed on principle alone. Amazing

Its more honorable than anything else anyone else has done.

good time to buy Tesla stock IMO

I think the reason Tesla is eating shite is that fewer people bought his vehicles last year than the year prior for the first time since he bought himself into the company. Competition is getting stiff in the EV space and they're not going to actually deliver true full self-driving on a business timeline worth investing into for many.

Elon is going to produce MILLIONS of additional Dem votes in the midterms and he's called people that are America First, Americans First, a bunch of bigots and vowed to go to war against them. Get off your knees.

It’s the whole market, not just Elon’s stuff

His shareholders and employees are feeling the pain. Musk could lose 99.9 percent of his wealth and still feel far less financial pain than your average American. Plus ketamine is a remarkable stress reliever.

I wish I could lose $100 billion...and still be the richest man in the world.

I think also part of it for the Tesla-priced type EVs is that anyone who wanted to own that sort of EV has already bought one. Especially for cars.
The Cyber Truck, though ugly as hell, is a new wrinkle, so I'm sure that helped some sales numbers. But other than that, I think the Tesla market has just about tapped out until a new wave moves into that economic class, or they make a vehicle for a lower economic class.
Then you're going to still not get the buy-ins from folks like myself who needs to know there will always be a place to "refill", no matter where I travel.

Tesla is down more than 50% from it's high of $488 on Dec 18th.

I believe you meant that DEMOCRATS are going to produce millions of additional Dem votes... thanks to Xerox.
They can try. They will fail.

Tesla needs their 25k EV even if it means making a subcompact rather than compact sedan or hatchback. That is what is limiting Tesla's continued growth and speculation in the market.
He's lucky that these Chinese EVs cannot come to the US market because of 100% tariffs or he'd be in real dire straits. He's at least ahead of the US and European market right now. The Chinese market has lapped Tesla and blowing away the traditional automotive manufacturers.

And whose money are they going to use to buy those votes now? You are the same ilk that said Republicans would never win again because of Roe v. Wade being overturned.

Perhaps literally, and definately physically. Their batteries are shite.

Don't you have a Ukrainian Foreign Legion assignment you're late to report for duty?

And that said that "They" would never "let" Trump be President again...
And who said Musk would wear out his welcome in Trump's circle in the first 30 days...
And who said Kash, RFKjr, Tulsi, et. al. would never get confirmed.
It's easy to be a contrarian howler monkey. Just see where the tea leaves are headed and screech incoherently about how it can never happen. It's just lousy when it comes time to produce results.

Don't you have an English language lesson you're late to attend?
