I don't know, maybe he wants to control where Tesla goes in the future . You think the deal is for a Trillion cash?
You would have to be pretty dense not to know that fiat currency systems all over the world are on their last legs. Keep your head in the sand if you would like to, won't change a thing if you do or don't :rotflmao:
Lol, I'm keeping mine for at least another 5 years.
Yes, I bought just like i bought Tesla in 2023 for $110 and NVDA earlier this year when it fell below $100. Yes, I know me making money doesn't make sense to you ??.
Lol, is quite hilarious that you still think Tesla is a car company.
No but he was actually born in a western country (although it isn't today). Please be less retarded.
GRYN is a great pic. That will probably be my main retirement ETF, just need to keep monitoring it for a few years. Tom Lee is my absolute favorite for investing.

Lol, I bet you are comfortable with using the wrong stats for the S&P 500. Look it up again :rotflmao:

Lol, i also look at what is in the portfolio. I invested in BRK-B for years, but I saw the writing on the wall.

Show me the high flyers the portfolio has. How is BRK-B doing for the year? What is it year to date? What has to do very well for it to just match the S&P 500 this year?

Now, what is in the portfolio that is going to do well in the future? Maybe Apple will do something new, I hope so, because that is the only way you are going to keep up. Surely you realize that 9 years you are talking about was mainly because of their ownership in Apple right? How do you think Buffet would have done the last 10 years without Apple?

Apple has averaged about 25% a year the last 10 years. I wonder how BRK-B would have done without Apple? BRK-B averaged about 13.6% during that time span. I don't know about you, but I don't see Apple keeping up with the rest of the bigger tech companies as the others keep investing and evolving. Evidently Buffet saw it too as he has sold tons of Apple the last couple of years. So, what is going to be the driver for your next 10 years? Do you even think about what the company invests in, or are you just I will trust Buffet with my future no matter what kind of guy?

Lol, I was a Buffet follower for years. His system no longer works with the kind of money debasement that has happened the last 5 years. Hell, he was doing subpar before he added apple in 2016. I am hopeful that his successor will add some strong tech companies. I believe they will have to if they want to continue to match the market. You guys are sooo behind. Lol, let me guess you still own US bonds in your portfolio :rotflmao:.
We shouldn't have UK reps ever at the Whitehouse because in 1814 they burned down our original house. Hell, they might try it again.

Unfortunately you are correct. No politician is going to cut the things that are needed to be cut. He knows he would not get many in congress to support him, because they all know they would be voted out and likely stoned to death. Trump was never going to cut SS or Medicare programs (over half of the annul spending). His only shot is to run the economy hot hoping the advancements in AI can lead to a booming economy to outpace the spending. It's a long shot.

Unfortunately the problem is the currency debasement. When we increase the money supply and increase inflation our purchasing power goes down. All the money that was printed out of thin air the last 5 years is the problem. We can pretend that prices are rising if we want to, but the value of the dollar is actually the thing that went down. If young people think that the prices were raised on them by greedy corporations then it would be quite easy for them to think they desire socialism. Our currency is a ponzi scheme, especially since 1971 when we went off the gold standard. The reason that gold and bitcoin has been going up is because people are buying the hell out of it for this very reason.

I just see the future and you don't. Several AI companies are making tons of money, I guess you can't see that. Keep your BRK-B if you like. Market is green all over today. How is BRK-B doing? Apple isn't gonna be enough to keep up with the market, I warned you.
If you are breaking federal laws that have been on the books forever, that's not treading on me, that is trying to start a civil war in my country. If you don't like the laws in this country you either try to change them or you move, you do no try to do what they are doing. This is actual insurrection....

Lol, I thought this was an investment forum where we talked about investing, not trading. I'm not at all that interested in the near term. No where in my statement did I say near term. I think you are overinflating what I wrote :rotflmao:.

Lol, the exception doesn't disprove the rule. It was meant as a general statement.

The future is AI stocks. When your holdings only account for apple and maybe a few minor positions in a couple more companies your returns are going to struggle. For the last 3 years non AI stocks have done poorly, I don't expect that to change in the near future or probably ever. AI will cause complete destruction. If the new Leadership doesn't start investing in AI I don't expect BRK-B to come anywhere close to keeping up with the market, probably will struggle to beat future inflation, assuming inflation rises when rates are cut and we run this economy hot like many expect.

re: Were the founders full of shite?

Posted by Hitman67 on 10/14/25 at 1:29 pm to
It's almost like they founded a country that was already 13 British colonies just before the founding. Lol, the fact I have to tell you this speaks volumes. Perhaps you think we should have started the civil war right after the founding of the new country? You do realize that a shite ton of people already lived here on their own property right and already owning slaves right? You do realize that we didn't start the country and then have people move here right? People like you who are eaten up with presentism and don't seem to understand we are an evolving people are just dense.

SC actually lost that game because of 4 turnovers. They actually had a few more total yards than vandy did.
