That’s probably best case scenario.

I blame Jjdoc for introducing this absolutely idiotic take with his thread that he started a few hours into it. It’s semantics and it is beyond absurd. One last thing, Hegseth has called this a “war”.
With this take, you would have to assume we’ve been in dozens of “wars” in the last 25 years. Can you name them all?

Iran doesn’t have the capability to go to war with the United States.
Yea that’s not the point.
The point is…
If iran was doing to us what we are doing to it, you and everyone else on this board would call it acts of war.

Because we would have the capability of taking the fight back to them and actually making it a war.

This idiotic line of argument baffles me.
Then think about it this way.
Imagine you now, fighting Mike Tyson in his prime.
Would you call that a boxing match, or just an ugly arse beating?
I submit that the latter best describes that situation; the former doesn't really. You could still call it " a boxing match" if you wanted to and I wouldn't object—technically it's true—but the reality of the situation is that it wouldn't be sufficiently competitive to accurately describe it as such.
Does that help?

So?
Does everyone here always agree with every decision there boss makes?

We’re not “at war” the Iran.
So why are semantics your primary focus?
Are you concerned that Congress has not declared war?
Everyone views Military Actions to destroy another country’s leadership and military infrastructure as acts of war.
Trump’s comments were also pushing for regime change, he called on the Iranian people to take control.

This wouldn't be unbelievable. Vance is much more on the isolationist side of the spectrum.
Disagreement internally is a very good thing

The MSM, dems, and isolationist repubs will continue to sow discontent over this military action, including lying and carrying water for a terrorist regime.
Just since this all started, the media has given a microphone to regime leaders, said the US is running out of munitions, said the US blew up a girls school in Iran. Additionally of course they've given full priority to any country's statements about not supporting the bombings.

Afghanistan, Iraq, Libya, Syria, Nigeria, and Yemen for starters.

Could be Vance's team putting it out.
This has the potential to go south and if so he can point to reports he was against it. He can also lay claim to being the real heir of MAGA and the White House got infected with war mongers (maybe due in large part to Wiles)
He can also easily deny that he was opposed.
Obviously, i am just speculating.

When it was reported days ago that was the exact reasoning given. The negative optics. Gabbard was also against it due to being staunchly anti-war.

He's very against going to war with Iran which is why we aren't going to war with Iran lol
These people are incredible at spinning shite.
Yes.. Vance hates war and does not want us ever going to war. Yes, they are right about that. But we aren't going to war so the article is nothing but propaganda spin

Same crowd that didn't want any of the Trump cabinet appointments. You hear daily about how they need to be replaced OR how there are rumors they will be fired.
Democratic optics 101.
The same exact people lying saying Trump has to ask Congress to attack. No he doesn't.
The law clearly says to declare the US in a State of War requires Congressional approval.
Obama did the same operations outside of Congress in Libya in 2011

I follow a lot of political news and it has curious as to why Vance has seemed to be kept far out of the spotlight the last 6 months or so by the Trump administration. I don't see him in public meetings with Trump and foreign leaders like he was at the start. No high profile speeches or being a spokesperson for administration policies.
Has Vance been pushed back to a Kamala role. Has Trump become somewhat weary of Vance loyalty.

This is the path they have chosen for themselves.

Britain doesn't want this to drag on because they have an islamist problem and they are terrified of attacks. Which is 100% going to happen to them, regardless
