Bought a 24 f250 lariat. I swore I’d never spend that much on a vehicle, but after discussing it with the cfo, we’ve never been in a better position to buy one even at that level. Replaced an 07 ram 2500 with 267k that was bought new. ...

During my ac service tech days I went into an attic and was dreading it, it was 95°+ and afternoon, but when i climbed up the stairwell, it was very comfortable, probably mid to upper 80's.. this was a normal attic, no foam, it did have ridge vents but what ma...

My Ruud wholesaler sells quite a bit of Bosch equipment. My 3 yr old inverter heat pump has been pretty solid. After years of watching the needle jump on the old amp meters upon compressor startup, it's cool to see the compressor start off at 1 amp and increase from there.
FYI, if your new uni...

The manual shows that you can see real time solar and grid input usage.
It has a counter in the app that shows cumulative watt hours saved.... this is just counting how much solar the unit has used.
It also has an AC limiter that can be set from 0 to 600 watts.

Whooops, I left out that this is an ongoing build. We were in San Antonio during the hot day/night cycles. We shut the unit down when we are gone. We’ve been side tracked for over 3 months. We lost my dad in late April and my wife’s mom passed 3 weeks ago. Hopefully we can get some progress goin...

We had it foamed in march. 10" against the roof, 5 1/4" in ext walls.
The chart below shows what a 10k window shaker did over several days in the great room. You can see temp drop the day I turned it on and 4 days later turned it off. The Bosch inverter heat pump has a lot of flexibility. I'll ...

Yes, this would make a heck of an add on to a hunting cabin. They make 3 sizes, 9k, 12k and 24k BTU. In heat mode, I thought i'd read somewhere where they could extract heat down to 14°. Non mini split variable drive heat pum...

I don't intend to go off grid. Just keeping my options open. Main system is a bit oversized at 4 ton. (2,700' with the space split evenly between 10 and 12' ceilings.) This system will run all the time at a setup temperature I've yet to decide on. What's cool about this unit is you bring the solar ...
